The mission of Team C University is to provide student-centered education both online and in blended format in order to help prepare students for employment, advance within their current careers and become highly qualified professionals in their field.

Commit to providing student centered learning and effective teaching practices through assessment, innovative curriculum and design, efficient online delivery and technical support.
Employ faculty that have demonstrated experience within their respective industries, hold advance degrees and teaching qualifications and continue to improve their skills through professional development.
Facilitate an interactive environment that promotes active learning and helps students become life-long learners.
Integrate technology to provide an engaging learning environment with supportive services in tutoring, academic advising, career planning, financial aid and technical support.
Implement current and relevant programs that are maintained by Subject Matter Experts (SME) in each respective field.
Provide an environment that promotes growth, encourage faculty and administration to refine their skills and support the University’s mission and needs of the students.

Understand all policies, rules and procedures of both online and blended platforms of Team C University.
It may be necessary from time to time to make changes based on requirements and standards of Accreditation bodies, state licensing agency or U.S. Department of Education, or for other reasons.University reserves right to make changes to online learning platform, instructional materials, curriculum, as needed. The University will provide addendums to this manual for any added supplemental information.

In order to maintain accreditation, online schools must maintain quality control. Quality control is measured by the training that is provided to individuals prior to using the system (Simonson, Smaldino, Albright, & Zvacek, 2012).
Purpose of Training
Training of Instructors (Simonson et al., 2012)
Instructors will participate in an intense, 6 week-long online course, to learn how to teach online courses successfully
In the online course, instructors will learn about:
Characteristics of online students Instructional design for online learning The role of media tools in online learning Online student assessment Online course evaluation Online course management
In order to determine if instructors have completed online courses successfully, they must take timed quiz & earn 80% or higher
Training of New Unit Users (Simonson et al., 2012)
New unit users will participate in 2 week-long, online course to learn how to navigate through online courses successfully. Online training course must be taken prior to beginning of first term at University.
In the online course, new unit users will learn about:
Self-motivation Computer proficiency Time management skills Independent learning Written and oral communication skills Self-discipline In order to determine if new unit users have completed online course successfully, they must take a self-paced quiz and earn a 100%
