Making Waves is a not-for-profit group of volunteer swimming instructors basedout of universities across Eastern Canada. This is the first time that our program will

    be offered in Halifax.

We offer inexpensive swimming lessons to children with intellectual challenges whoare unable to participate in group swimming lessons and allowing very affordable ac-

    cess to private swimming instruction.

At Making Waves, we believe that becoming comfortable in the water and learning toswim is essential for all children. It is our mission to ensure that swimming lessons are

accessible and affordable to those who need them most.

Your child will be paired one-on-one with one of our instructors, who will help themattain their personal goals, whether it be putting their faces in the water for the firsttime or developing their swim strokes. We recognize that everyone learns at their

own pace, and that with a little help anything is possible.

Information on Making Waves Montreal, the program on which we are modeled, isavailable at www.makingwavesmontreal.com.

To register, contact Kyle Jewer (coordinator) [email protected]. Further inquiries on the program can be addressed
