O “IV Reid´s Palace Classic Auto Show Funchal” é uma iniciativa promovida conjuntamente, pelo Hotel Reid´s Palace e pela Câmara Municipal do Funchal, apresenta-se com periodicidade anual, e procura mostrar e premiar os melhores e mais elegantes veículos antigos e clássicos da Região Autónoma da Madeira e, eventualmente, alguns outros vindos de fora que, atraídos pelo prestígio deste evento, queiram também participar.

that must be preserved and transmitted to future generations.I recognise, support and applaud all the enthu-siasm shared by both the owners and drivers of these classic and vintage vehicles, dedicated enthu-siasts of this hobby and true cultural agents and key elements for the preservation and promotion of this unique heritage. Consequently, Madeira has improved its touristic offer based not only on its international acknowledgment but also on the relevance of each one of these automobile pieces, which are part of the islands history.I believe that Madeira must endorse this kind of events as to diversify its touristic offer from other destinations but also to enhance to its international notoriety. This event has become a reference to the city of Funchal, featured on both the islands and city´s touristic calendar. Therefore, it’s in the city´s and our best interests to pro-mote this kind of events as they can make a difference, creating everlasting sensations and experiences not only for its locals but also to tourists during their visit who will later share these moments once they return home.It is an event that features in the tourism cal-endar of the region and the city of Funchal, and which we want to encourage through our support, because a touristic town such as ours needs events that leave a mark, cre-ate sensations and experiences that will be remembered and spread to the wider world, by the ones who visit us.

We celebrate this year the fourth edition of the Reid’s Classic Auto Show, which, once again confi rmed to be a unique event of the highest quality. This exhibition, born in 2012, by the hand of a small group of en-thusiasts and supported without hesitation by Belmond Reid’s Palace, soon demon-strated a great value, recognized over these years to become the largest exhibition of classic vehicles in Portugal. It was for us great pride to see this “baby” grow and gain value from year to year, as it is like being a father and watching the development of the children by themselves being proud of their achievements and nourishing the hope that they will be able to obtain all the best in their lives. It is in this sense that we also have the same expectation that the Reid’s Classic Auto Show is certainly one of the excellences that Madeira offers its citizens and the many visitors who annually pass in Alameda Reid’s, to honour with a visit the many mechanical and technology works of art on display. See you on May 6th 2016!!!

Celebramos este ano a quarta edição do Reid’s Classic Auto Show, que mais uma vez confi rmou ser um evento único, de al-tíssima qualidade. Esta exposição, nascida em 2012, por mão de um pequeno grupo de entusiastas e, apoiada sem hesitação pelo Belmond Reid’s Palace, demonstrou logo um grande valor, reconhecido ao longo des-te anos, até passar a ser a maior exposição de veículos clássicos de Portugal. Foi para nos um grande orgulho ver este “bebé” cres-cer e ganhar de ano para ano valor, pois é como ser pai e assistir ao desenvolvimen-to das próprias crianças fi cando orgulhosos das conquistas deles nutrindo a esperança que na vida deles consigam tudo do me-lhor. É com este sentimento que também fi camos com a mesma expectativa de que para nos é sem duvida uma certeza, que o Reid’s Classic Auto Show é com certeza uma das excelências que a Madeira oferece aos seus cidadãos e os inúmeros visitantes que anualmente passam na Alameda Reid’s para honrar com uma visita as obras de arte da tecnologia mecânica em exposição. Terminada a quarta edição do Reid´s Palace Clas-sic Auto Show podemos afi rmar que se tratou de mais um êxito enorme. Não há dúvida que este sucesso se deve principalmente ao amor e à de-dicação que os madeirenses têm pelo automóvel e, neste caso especial, pelos automóveis, motas e bicicletas antigas. Em todas as edições a pergunta que mais vezes nos foi colocada foi sempre se to-dos aqueles veículos expostos eram da Madeira, tal o espanto e admiração pelo número e qualidade dos mesmos.Outra das causas deste enorme sucesso é a aderên-cia de todos os clubes de marca que, nesta ocasião, se juntam e unem esforços para um fi m comum. Foram este ano cerca de uma centena o número de entusiastas que se juntaram para pensar, pro-gramar, preparar e montar a Exposição. Foi gente que começou a reunir-se largos meses antes, para que no dia 9 de Maio, pelas 10 horas da manhã,

After the fourth edition of Reid’s Palace Classic Auto Show we can say that it was another huge success. There is no doubt that this success is mainly due to the love and dedication that the lo-cals have for the car, and in this particular case, for the old cars, motorbikes and bikes. In all editions, the question that most times we were asked was if all those vehicles exposed were from Madeira, such was the astonishment and admiration by the number and quality of vehicles.Another of the causes of this huge success is the adherence of all branded clubs, that on this occa-sion, come together and join forces for a common purpose. This year there were about one hundred, the number of enthusiasts who came together to think, plan, prepare and assemble the Exhibition. It were people who started to meet many months prior to the event, so that on the 9th of May, at 10 am, everything was ready to receive the authorities

tudo estivesse pronto e a postos para receber as autoridades e os primeiros visitantes.Foi a primeira vez que a Exposição recebeu a visita do Presidente do Governo Regional que, acompa-nhado de outros elementos do governo, percorreu interessado e demoradamente a Alameda Reid´s, incentivando a organização a continuar e a crescer em número e qualidade.Um evento deste género tem a necessidade de ino-var de ano para ano, de forma a não se tornar repetitivo. E, mais uma vez, as novidades este ano foram muitas. A Exposição foi muito mais dinâmi-ca, com apresentações temáticas diversas, durante o período da tarde, que pela primeira vez foram feitas em português e inglês. Os clubes, nos es-paços que lhe eram destinados, procuraram criar cenários que enriqueceram os mesmos.Trouxemos este ano ao evento, pela primeira vez, uma viatura de fora da Região, pelo simples mo-tivo de ser o mais antigo automóvel madeirense existente. Um “Adler” de 1921 que apenas teve dois proprietários, o que o adquiriu inicialmente e o que o restaurou por completo, restituindo-lhe a juventude. Isto só foi possível com o apoio da Se-cretaria Regional de Turismo.A anteceder a Exposição decorreu, na semana an-terior, uma mostra de aguarelas sobre o tema, na sala de exposições dessa mesma Secretaria Regio-nal de Turismo.Também, pela primeira vez, tivemos cobertura do evento em directo, pela RTP-M, que permitiu uma divulgação enorme e de qualidade desta festa que é já um cartaz turístico da Região.Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, o CACM organi-zou, no mesmo fim de semana e como comple-mento da Exposição, a “Comemoração dos 80 anos da Rampa dos Barreiros”, onde, por esse motivo, se viram 80 viaturas históricas a subir a mesma rampa que Ribeiro Ferreira venceu, em 1935, ao volante de um “Bugatti”.

and the first visitors.It was the first time that the President of the Re-gional Government, together with other elements of the government, visited the exhibition, they toured the Alameda Reid’s very interested and for a long time, encouraging the organization to con-tinue and grow in number and quality.An event such this one, must innovate from year to year, in order not to become repetitive. And, again, the innovations this year were many. The exhibition was much more dynamic, with sever-al thematic presentations during the afternoon, which were for the first time made in Portuguese and English. The clubs, in the spaces that were de-termined, sought to create scenarios that enriched them.We brought this year to the event, for the first time, a car outside the region, for the simple rea-son of being the oldest existing car from Madeira. An “Adler” from 1921, that only had two owners, the one who initially acquired it and the one who restored completely, restoring its youth. This was only possible with the support of the Secretaria Regional do Turismo.The previous week preceding the exhibition, it took place a watercolors show on the topic, in the exhibition hall of Secretaria Regional do Turismo.Also, for the first time, we had live coverage of the event, by RTP-M, which allowed a huge dissemi-nation and quality of this festival, which is already a tourist attraction in the region.For the second consecutive year, the CACM or-ganized on the same weekend and as complement to the exhibition, the “Celebration of the 80 years of the Rampa dos Barreiros”, where for that rea-son 80 historic cars were seen going up the same ramp that Ribeiro Ferreira won in 1935 driving a “Bugatti”.This whole event was only possible due to the sup-port and sponsorship that we have received, not

Esse facto permitirá um fácil intercâmbio entre colecionado-res, permitindo a vinda fácil de veículos de fora, assim como a ida dos nossos melhores veículos a concursos, exposições e provas lá fora.

Long since many people, for different reasons, yearned for maritime connection to mainland in an appropriate vessel for the transport of cars, which now seems to be a reality very close. This will enable an easy exchange between collectors, allowing the coming of vehicles from outside, as well as the attendance of our best vehicles on com-petitions, exhibitions and events abroad.

O Adler 9/24 Tropedo é atualmente o automóvel madeirense mais antigo em circulação. O seu pro-prietário, Fernando Lemos de Gomes, relata-nos a sua história:“Quando em 1966 estava a restaurar o «Fiat 501» numa ofi cina do Funchal, o chefe da referida ofi ci-na informou-me da existência de um carro antigo, raro, da marca «Adler». Fiquei surpreendido por-que nessa época eu já tinha percorrido algum ca-minho na busca e recolha de informações sobre os automóveis antigos da Madeira. Não tinha qual-quer referência sobre esse carro. Vim a saber que, era seu proprietário, um conhecido mecânico do Funchal. Só descansei quando consegui combinar uma visita ao local onde ele estava. Durante essa visita fi quei surpreendido com todos os aspectos gerais distintivos do carro relativos à sua raridade, originalidade, forma, idade, etc. O fi lho do proprie-tário informou-me que iria vender o automóvel e que para isso modifi caria as jantes, de forma a ser mais fácil pô-lo a rodar.

The Adler 9/24 Torpedo is currently the oldest car in circulation in Madeira. Its owner, Fernando Lemos Gomes, tells us its history:“When in 1966, I was restoring the “Fiat 501” in a car workshop in Funchal, the manager of the car workshop informed me of the existence of an old and rare Adler vehicle. I was surprised because at that time I had already travelled in search of in-formation regarding old collectibles remaining in Madeira. I didn’t have any reference about this car. Then I found out that its owner was a well-known mechanic in Funchal. I only stopped once I managed to arrange a visit to the place where it was kept. During this visit I was amazed with all the distinctive general features of this car regarding its rarity, originality, shape, age, etc. The owner’s son informed me that he would sell the car with the compromise that he would modify the rims, in order to make it easier to get it running.So, I set myself to buy the car and prevent that improper modifi cation made on the wheels. Propus-me então a comprar o automóvel e salvar aquela imprópria modifi cação do rodado. Durante os dois anos que passei no Funchal, tive a opor-tunidade de reiteradamente oferecer propostas de compra, que fi nalmente foram aceites em 1967. Após a compra, o «Adler» veio pelos seus pró-prios meios, embora com alguma difi culdade pois os pneus traseiros não tinham câmaras-de-ar e a borracha estava amarrada às jantes com arames, da garagem onde estava até casa dos meus pais, felizmente próxima. Aí fi cou durante 27 anos, até Outubro de 1994, ano em que embarcou com des-tino ao Estoril, onde agora resido.Durante este longo período de tempo fui aumen-tando as informações e o conhecimento das carac-terísticas da marca. É de salientar que este carro teve apenas um dono antes de mim, que era o seu mecânico e condutor, e consequentemente o seu estado geral era bom e original. Estavam todos os seus componentes presentes, faltando apenas o tampão da gasolina. No entanto não tinha qual-quer documento técnico. Adquiri na Alemanha um livro sobre a marca e, com redobrada curio-sidade, verifi quei que as informações técnicas aí contidas coincidiam com aquelas que encontrava no automóvel.”

ing the two years I spent in Funchal, I had the opportunity to, repeatedly, offer proposals for its purchase, which were fi nally accepted in 1967. Af-ter the purchase, the “Adler” arrived from the ga-rage where it was to my parents’ house, which was fortunately nearby although with some diffi culty, as the back tires didn’t have air chambers and the rubber was tied to the rims with wires. There it remained for 27 years, until October 1994, when it embarked bound to Estoril, Portugal, where I now live. During this long period of time I increased my knowledge and understanding of the brand’s characteristics. It must be noted that this car had only one owner before me, who was its mechanic and driver, so, its general condition was good and original. All its components were present, and only the gas cap was missing. However, it had no tech-nical document. I purchased in Germany a book about the brand and, with great curiosity, verifi ed that the technical information available coincided with what I found in the car.”

Fernando Azevedo e Lemos Gomes, nasceu em Lisboa a 9 de Outubro de 1940. Filho do Dr. João Lemos Gomes, médico ortopedista e reconhecido aguarelista madeirense, também ligado aos auto-móveis, pois não foi só o Diretor Clínico da “Volta à Ilha” durante 13 anos, como o autor dos em-blemas das primeiras 9 edições desta prestigiada prova da Madeira.Fernando explica o porquê do seu interesse pelos automóveis antigos:“Posso enumerar alguns aspectos marcantes que julgo que estiveram presentes no meu processo de formação. Algumas características dos meus ante-passados, relativas à destreza, valorização manual e aplicação ao mundo prático. Vivi, portanto, num mundo familiar onde se propiciava a execução de trabalhos-tarefa. Nesse ambiente vi o meu pai, nos seus tempos livres, executar trabalhos de restauro, carpintaria, encadernação, estofador, modelista na-val, escultor, desenhador de móveis para uso na profi ssão, restaurador de telas de óleo, desenhador numismata, sem falar na sua principal paixão que era pintar em aguarela, onde atingiu um nível e reconhecimento notáveis.”

Fernando Azevedo e Lemos Gomes was born in Lisbon on 9 October 1940. Son of João Lemos Gomes, M.D., an orthopaedic doctor and recog-nised Madeiran watercolourist, also interested in automobiles, he not only was the Clinical Director of “Volta à Ilha” (Island Tour) for 13 years, but also the author of the insignias of the fi rst 9 editions of this prestigious race in Madeira.Fernando explains the reasons behind his interest in vintage cars:“I can enumerate some striking aspects which I believe were present in my training process. Some features are related with my ancestors, dexterity, appreciation for working with one’s hands and practicality. Therefore I was used to executing these type of works In that atmosphere, I saw my father during his free times, executing restoration works, carpentry, binding, upholsterer, naval de-signer, sculptor, furniture designer , restoring oil canvas, numismatics drawer, not to mention his main passion that was watercolour painting, from which he obtained a notoriety and recognition.”“Regarding my personal taste for automobiles, it started as a matter of curiosity: “How does that

“Em relação ao gosto pelos automóveis, apare-ceu-me como uma questão de curiosidade: como é que aquele conjunto se move, como é que so-bre e desce, como tem potência, acelera e trava... Comecei, inconscientemente, por perguntar aos brinquedos (automóveis), que sofriam algum mau trato... tentando consertá-los e voltando muitas ve-zes a pô-los em funcionamento. A consciência e satisfação experimentada nessas descobertas foram emoções, de tal maneira marcantes, que ainda me recordo bem.”“Mais tarde, com o despertar da consciência esté-tica genérica, é que, ao aplica-la nos automóveis clássicos, passei a valorizar aquelas formas e as suas soluções físicas. Era o gosto de redescobrir e experimentar, sabendo que aquelas, embora ul-trapassadas, poderiam ainda informar e reviver. É aliás um dos principais motivos que preside e habita nas diferentes marcas e clubes automóveis espalhadas pelo mundo.”“Foi com a maior naturalidade que, ao terminar o sétimo ano do liceu do Funchal, me envolvi in-conscientemente no restauro de um carro de um colega. Naquela época, em 1959, esse automóvel estava parcialmente desmontado. Estava numa ofi-cina próxima à casa do meu colega. Nas sucessivas vistas íamos falando com o mestre sobre os proble-mas que iam surgindo... foi a primeira vez que vi um motor e restantes componentes desmontados.”“Fui para Lisboa estudar e, de regresso ao Funchal, após atingir a maioridade, recebi algum dinheiro de um seguro. O meu primeiro impulso foi adqui-rir um automóvel, ainda sem carta de condução e secretamente da família, um «Fiat 501». Na con-tinuação dos estudos em Lisboa, fui obrigado a deixar o carro em casa de um amigo. De regresso, nas férias, fui obrigado a retirar de lá o carro e a informar os meus pais do sucedido.”

The awareness and satisfaction experienced during these discoveries still bring back such clear emo-tions which I still remember so well, till today.”“Later, with the awakening of the generic aesthetic conscience, was when I applied it to classic auto-mobiles, and started to value those forms and their physical solutions. It was the pleasure of rediscov-ering and experiencing, knowing that those mod-els, although outdated, could still serve as source of information. It is in fact one of the main reasons that guides and dwells in different car brands and clubs around the world.”“It was with the greatest ease that, when I was concluding my seventh grade at the Funchal high school, I unconsciously got involved in restoring a friend’s car. At that time, in 1959, this car was partially dismantled. I was at a car workshop in the vicinity of my colleague’s house. In the successive visits we spoke to the chief mechanic about the problems that would arise... it was the first time that I saw an engine and the remaining compo-nents disassembled.”“I went to Lisbon to study and when returning to Funchal, after coming of age, I received some money from an insurance policy. My first impulse was to purchase a car, a «Fiat 501», even before I had a driver’s licence and without my family know-ing. Continuing my studies in Lisbon, I was forced to leave the car at a friend’s house. When I re-turned for the holidays, I was forced to remove the car from there and to inform my parents of what had happened.”

“O primeiro «Fiat 501», comprei-o em 1962 e de-pois um segundo em 1965. O segundo era mais antigo e mais completo. Era o M-284, a cor origi-nal cinzento e preto e tivera, como primeiro dono, um médico bem conhecido. Modelo apresentado em Paris em 1918, teve enorme sucesso mundial. Era prático, fi ável, rápido, robusto e apresentava diversas carroçarias.”“Procurei materiais e componentes de outros «Fiat» em vários lugares pela Madeira (sucateiros, etc.). Curiosamente, encontrei nesta busca um outro «Fiat Bateau», quase completo, que fora encomen-dado por um italiano, director do Hotel Reid’s, de nome Gandolfo. Ao fi m destas buscas tinha quase três «Fiat».”“Como estive na Madeira quase dois anos segui-dos, de 1965 a 1967, na Escola de Belas Artes do Funchal, aproveitei para restaurar o «Fiat 501». Solicitei ao representante da marca no Funchal, apoio para o restauro mas foram de uma descon-fi ança, desvalorização e desprezo inqualifi cáveis.”Depois de se instalar num anexo da casa dos pais, onde tinha instalado uma pequena ofi cina, com algumas ferramentas que adquirira, o Fernando iniciou em Setembro de 1965 o restauro do seu carro mais antigo.“Iniciei a desmontagem ordenada dos principais conjuntos mecânicos e seus componentes e encon-trei gravado, no motor e na caixa de velocidades a mesma data de fabrico, 4.12.1922. “I bought the fi rst «Fiat 501» in 1962, and then a second one in 1965. The second vehicle was more ancient and more complete. It was the M-284, in the original grey and black colour, and its fi rst own-er was a well-known doctor. A model presented in Paris in 1918, it had enormous success worldwide. It was practical, reliable, fast, robust, and several coachworks were available.”“I searched for materials and components in other «Fiats» in various places in Madeira (scrap dealers, etc.). Interestingly, during this search I found an-other «Fiat Bateau», almost complete, which had been ordered by an Italian, Director of the Re-id’s Hotel, named Gandolfo. At the end of these searches I had nearly three «Fiats».”“Since I stayed in Madeira for almost two years in a row, from 1965 to 1967, at the Funchal School of Fine Arts, I took the opportunity to restore the «Fiat 501». I requested the brand’s representative in Funchal for support in the restoration, but they were of unspeakable suspicion, depreciation and disregard.”After settling it in an annex at my parents’ house, where I had installed a small workshop, with some tools that I had acquired, Fernando began restor-ing his oldest car in September 1965.“I started the orderly dismantling of the main me-chanical assemblies and their components and I found, engraved on the engine and the gearbox the same date of manufacture, 4/12/1922. Depois agrupei todos os componentes e peças, da suspensão, motor, caixa, diferencial, carroçaria, assentos, capota, etc... e cada um foi encaminhado para destinos diferentes de forma a realizar as con-sultas a diversos especialistas. Estas produziram re-comendações, diagnósticos e estimativas orçamen-tais, a que se seguiram as adjudicações e entregas. Desmontei o motor e entreguei a condução do seu restauro ao Sr. Silva, na Levada de Santa Luzia, que apontou a oficina especializada para a sua rea-bilitação. Quando as peças chegaram e o motor ficou pronto, foi montado e testado numa estrutura metálica feita por ele. Aprendi com ele algo sobre os motores deste tipo.”“No Campo da Barca existia uma grande garagem, a «Metalúrgica», com vários espaços ocupados por vários mestres especialistas... bate-chapas, mecâni-co, electrecista, carroçarias, estofadores, pintores. Aí , o mestre Andrade, fez a reposição da madeira da carroçaria, substituindo a que estava podre.”Depois foi arranjada a chapa, seguindo-se o estofa-dor, até se chegar à capota feita com lona imper-meável importada de Inglaterra. Os pneus e jantes foram também um problema difícil e demorado de resolver.”Na fase final do restauro, Inocêncio de Freitas, ain-da familiar do Fernando, convidou-o para expor o carro numa loja nova, Stand da Gazcídla, a abrir em breve na Rua Fernão de Ornelas. Isto cons-tituiu o empurrão final para terminar o restauro deste automóvel, que chegou a vir publicado nos dois diários da cidade.Em 1969 foi exposto nos jardins da Quinta Vi-gia, num evento aí realizado na altura da «Volta à Ilha».

the chassis of all the components, then I scraped, manually and on my own, until I reached the steel, painting it afterwards. Then I grouped all the com-ponents and parts, suspension, engine, gearbox, rear axle, bodywork, seats, hood, etc... and each one was routed to different destinations in order for the consultations with several experts to be car-ried out. These produced recommendations, diag-nostics and budget estimates, which was followed by the procurements and deliveries. I disassembled the engine and handed the conduction of its resto-ration to Mr. Silva, in Levada de Santa Luzia, who pointed out a specialized car workshop for its reha-bilitation. When the parts arrived and the engine was ready, it was assembled and tested in a metallic structure made by him. I learned something about this type of engines from him.”“In Campo da Barca there was a large garage, the “Metalúrgica”, with several spaces occupied by sev-eral expert chief mechanics... beaters, mechanics, electricians, coachworks, upholsterers, painters. There, chief master Andrade replaced the coach-works timber, replacing what was rotten.”Then the sheet metal was fixed, followed by the upholsterer, until the hood was restored made with waterproof canvas imported from England. The tires and rims were also a difficult problem to solve.In the final phase of the restoration, Inocêncio de Freitas, from Fernando’s family, invited him to dis-play the car in a new stand, the “Gazcídla” Stand, which was to be opened soon on Rua Fernão de Ornelas. This was the final push to finish the res-toration of this car, which was featured in two of the city’s newspapers.In 1969 it was displayed in the gardens of Quinta Vigia, in an event that took place there at the time of the “Volta à Ilha“(Island Tour).

Considerei uma valorização estética utilizar esse radiador polido, em vez do pintado, e mudei o verde azulado da carroçaria para vermelho. Depois desta alteração de aspecto mudou de proprietário e, em 1980, foi para o Continente.”“A última notícias que tive do carro foi um anún-cio, aliás elogioso, para venda, numa revista da es-pecialidade, em 2012.”Mas a “coroa de glória” do Fernando Lemos de Gomes é o seu «Adler», o Convidado de Honra desta edição do Reid’s Palace Classic Auto Show.

“In 1978, in Lisbon, I found various materials, which included an original alpaca radiator. I con-sidered it a relevant aesthetic detail, using this pol-ished radiator, and instead of the paint, I changed the bluish green of the bodywork to red. After this alteration in appearance it also changed ownership and, in 1980, it went to the mainland.”“Last I heard the car was on an advertisement, for sale in an automobile magazine in 2012.”But the “pride and joy” of Fernando Lemos Gomes is his “Adler”, the Guest of Honour in this edition of the Reid’s Palace Classic Auto Show.

BARREIROS – edição comemorativados 80 anos)

O “IV Reid´s Palace Classic Auto Show Funchal”, adiante unicamente designado por “evento”, é uma iniciativa pro-movida conjuntamente pelo Hotel Reid´s Palace e pela Câmara Municipal do Funchal, apresenta-se com perio-dicidade anual, e procura mostrar e premiar os melhores e mais elegantes veículos antigos e clássicos (adiante unicamente designados por “veículos”) da Região Autó-noma da Madeira e, eventualmente, alguns outros vindos de fora que, atraídos pelo prestígio deste evento, queiram também participar.

A presente edição do evento ocorrerá nos dias 9 e 10 de Maio de 2015.

A organização do evento foi conferida, desde a primeira edição, a um colégio de entusiastas da Região, há muitos anos ligados à nobre causa dos veículos antigos e clássi-cos, sendo eles: João Mendes de Almeida, Urbino Rebelo e Eduardo Jesus.

Na presente edição, de 2015, o evento terá, complemen-tarmente, como entidade coorganizadora, o Clube de Au-tomóveis Clássicos da Madeira (adiante designado por “CACM”) a quem compete toda a organização da reedi-ção da “Rampa dos Barreiros” - primeira prova de veloci-dade realizada na Madeira com pilotos e automóveis vin-dos de fora, fazendo parte das festividades do longínquo fim-de-ano de 1935.

A participação dos inscritos no evento pressupõe, inequi-vocamente, o conhecimento e a aceitação integral das disposições do presente Regulamento.

AND ELEGANCE CONTEST AND RE-EDITION OF THE RAMPA DOS BARREIROS

- 80 years commemorative edition)

The “IV Reid’s Palace ClassicAuto Show-Funchal”, herei-nafter referred to as “event” is an initiative jointly hosted by Hotel Reid’s Palace and the City Hall of Funchal, is pre-sented on an annual basis, and seeks to show and reward the best and most elegant antique and classic vehicles (hereinafter only referred to as “vehicles”) of the Autono-mous Region of Madeira and possibly some others from outside who, attracted by the prestige of this event, also want to participate.

This year’s event will take place on the 9th and 10th May 2015.

The organization was granted, since the first edition, to a college of enthusiasts in the region who for many years are connected with the noble cause of vintage and classic vehicles, namely: João Mendes de Almeida, Urbino Rebe-lo and Eduardo Jesus.

In this edition of 2015, the event will have in addition, as a co-organizer entity, the Clube de Automóveis Clássicos da Madeira (hereinafter reformed to as “CACM”) who is responsible for the entire organization of the revivng of the “Rampa dos Barreiros”. The first speed race organized in Madeira wih drivers and cars from abroad, having been part of the new year festivities of the by gone year of 1935.

The participation of those registered in this event assumes unequivocally the knowledge and full acceptance of the dispositions of this Regulation.

REGULATIONS

= RAMPA DOS BARREIROS =May 10th, 2015

Regardless of the specific responsibility of the CACM Re-gulation, organizer of the “Rampa dos Barreiros”, to which all participant teams are subject to, in this event and as from the registration act, there are some aspects of princi-ple that must be established:

1 - The “Rampa dos Barreiros” is a regularity race that consists of performing three passages in almost all of the

1 - A “Rampa dos Barreiros” é uma prova de regulari-dade que consiste na realização de três passagens na quase totalidade do traçado onde, em 1935, se realizou a sua primeira edição – Avenida Sá Carneiro, Rua Carvalho Araújo, Largo António Nobre, Ponte do Ribeiro Seco, Rua Dr. Pita até junto ao portão da Quinta Magnólia.

2 - As inscrições para a Rampa dos Barreiros deverão ser realizadas na sede do CACM.

3 – As equipas concorrentes (adiante designadas por “concorrentes”) serão constituídas por duas pessoas – o piloto e o cronometrista, com a exceção para automóveis monolugares cuja equipa se limita ao respectivo piloto.

4 – Após a última subida, os participantes da Rampa dos Barreiros estacionam os seus veículos no Parque Fecha-do – Banco BPI, obrigatório, situado na Praça do Mar.

5 – A entrega de prémios da “Rampa dos Barreiros” terá lugar no próprio dia da prova.

= EXPOSIÇÃO =9 de Maio de 2015

1 - O evento terá lugar na Estrada Monumental, ocupan-do toda a faixa sul e a faixa norte, compreendidas entre o Largo da Paz e a Travessa Dr. Valente, e a faixa sul, compreendida entre a Travessa Dr. Valente e a entrada do Hotel Vida Mar, cujo local se denomina, para o efeito ex-clusivo do aludido evento, de “Alameda Reid’s Palace”.

O trânsito na Estrada Monumental, na área referida, será interrompido durante o decorrer do evento, salvaguardan-do-se os acessos às garagens dos residentes e aos ho-téis ali localizados.

A reabertura da Estrada Monumental ocorrerá, impreteri-velmente, à hora definida pela Organização, momento em que a mesma deve estar completamente desobstruída, sendo da exclusiva responsabilidade dos participantes o cumprimento desta disposição.

2 – Anualmente a Organização escolherá os membros da “Equipa de Apoio” e definirá o respectivo programa que será divulgado aquando da apresentação da mesma e que poderá contemplar, entre outras atividades, o lança-mento de publicações específicas, sessões de autógrafos e palestras, a exposição dos veículos antigos e clássicos, a mostra de projetos de restauro, a presença de um ou vários veículos convidados de honra, uma Feira de Au-tomobilia, concursos vários, incluindo o de fotografia, a realização de homenagens, para além dos Concursos de Elegância, Restauro e Originalidade.

Compete à Organização a coordenação da “Equipa de Apoio” e a atribuição das respectivas competências e fun-ções aos seus membros.

5 - The awards ceremony of the “Rampa dos Barreiros” will take place at sun set on May 10th and will feature a cocktail Madeira of Honour sponsored by Justino’s Madei-ra Wines.

= EXHIBITION =9 May 2015

1 - The event will take place on the Estrada Monumental, occupying the entire south and north tracks, between Lar-go da Paz and Travessa Dr. Valente, and the south track, between the Travessa Dr. Valente and the entrance of Ho-tel Vida Mar, whose site is called, for the sole purpose of the aforementioned event, the “Alameda Reid’s Palace”.Traffic on Estrada Monumental in this area will be inter-rupted during the course of the event, safeguarding the residents access to garages and hotels located there.

The reopening of the Estrada Monumental will occur at the time set by the Organization, when it should be completely clear, being the sole responsibility of the participants the compliance of this disposition.

2 - Each year the organization will choose the members for the “Support Team” and, within this, will appoint the “Event Coordinator” of the respective edition and will de-fine the program that will be released when the presenta-tion of that same program takes place, which may include, among other activities, the launching of specific publica-tions, lectures and autograph sessions, the exhibition of vintage and classic vehicles, the showing of restoration projects, the presence of one or several guests of honor vehicles, Automobilia Fair, several competitions, including the photography, the attribution of homages in addition to the Elegance Restoration and Originality contests.

It is the responsibility of the Organization to coordinate the “Support Team” and to distribute the functions and duties to its members.

3 – In the event the registration of vintage and classic vehi-cles, produced until 1980, will be admitted, including: light and heavy vehicles, all-terrain, buses and other vehicles of specific use (agricultural, ambulances, firefighters, etc.), motorcycles and bikes if properly restored, with its origi-

3 – Será admitida a inscrição no evento dos veículos an-tigos e clássicos, produzidos até 1980, nomeadamente: automóveis ligeiros e pesados, incluindo os todo-o-terre-no, autocarros e outros de uso específico (agrícola, am-bulâncias, bombeiros, entre outros), motos e bicicletas desde que devidamente restaurados, mantida a sua ori-ginalidade, e devidamente preparados para a exposição ao público.

A Organização poderá decidir pela aceitação de algum outro veículo mais recente, se entender que o interesse histórico, a raridade ou a qualidade do mesmo o justifica.

4 – Os veículos a expor carecem de inscrição prévia no evento, cuja participação dependerá, no entanto, de apro-vação prévia pela Organização, visando, essencialmente, a maior diversidade de modelos.

As inscrições para o evento serão gratuitas, aceites desde que apresentadas à Organização até ao dia 11 de Abril e devem resultar dos convites endereçados pela Organiza-ção, ou através dos respectivos clubes de marca envolvi-dos no evento.

Os interessados na participação nas várias iniciativas que compõem o programa, nomeadamente na Feira de Au-tomobilia ou na Mostra de Projeto de Restauro, devem manifestar esse interesse no decorrer do período referido anteriormente e, devem, também, assumir e garantir to-dos os meios necessários à concretização da respectiva presença, nomeadamente aqueles que resultam definidos no âmbito da participação na exposição ao público, nas áreas que a Organização definir.

A formalização da inscrição no evento decorrerá da acei-tação do convite dirigido e deverá ser concretizada atra-vés da apresentação do Boletim de Inscrição que, por sua vez, poderá ocorrer através de uma das seguintes formas: preferencialmente, através da submissão electrónica do respectivo formulário, seguindo as correspondentes ins-truções; junto de qualquer um dos membros da Organi-zação; pessoalmente no CACM; ou, por e-mail, para o endereço “[email protected]”.

Em qualquer dos casos, a participação, para ser validada, requer que o respectivo Boletim de Inscrição seja assina-do pelo interessado, a quem compete nele registar a von-tade da participação no evento, assinalando conveniente-mente as respectivas opções: Exposição / Concurso de Restauro / Concurso de Originalidade. Para o caso da submissão electrónica, considera-se que o ato substitui a assinatura do interessado.

5 – Os diversos clubes, grupos e associações da RAM ( Amigos de bicicletas antigas – Madeira, Amigos dos Japo-neses Antigos, Amigos Fiat Madeira, Amigos Peugeot An-tigos da Madeira, Associação dos Amigos da 4L Madeira, Bicavalaria Madeira, BMW Clube Madeira, Clube Carocha da Madeira, Clube de Automóveis Clássicos da Madei-ra, Clube Mini da Madeira, Fords Clássicos da Madeira,

nality maintained and properly prepared for exhibition to the public.

The Organization may decide to accept some other newer vehicles, as long as the historical interest, the rarity or the quality of the same is justified.

4 – The vehicles running for the exhibition require prior registration for the event, whose participation will depend, however, on prior approval by the Organization, essen-tially aimed at a greater diversity of models.

The registrations for the event will be free of charge and accepted provided they are presented to the Organization until 18th April.

Those interested in participating in the various initiatives that make up the program, particularly in Automobilia Fair or Exhibition of Restoration Projects must manifest this in-terest during the period aforesaid and shall also ensure all means necessary to implement their presence, particularly those that will have a participation in the exhibition of their goods to the public in the areas defined by the Organiza-tion.

The formalization of the registration for the event will be achieved by submitting the application form which, in turn, may occur through one of the following ways: preferably through electronic submission of the application form by following the corresponding instructions; directly with any member of the Organization; personally in CACM; or by email to the address “[email protected]”.

In any case, to be validated, the participation requires that the respective application form is signed by the person who will be participating in the event, conveniently ticking the options: Exhibition / Restoration Competition / Origi-nality Contest. In case of electronic submission, it is con-sidered that the act replaces the signature of the person concerned.

5 - The various clubs, groups and associations of RAM (Amigos de bicicletas antigas – Madeira, Amigos dos Ja-poneses Antigos, Amigos Fiat Madeira, Amigos Peugeot Antigos da Madeira, Associação dos Amigos da 4L Ma-deira, Bicavalaria Madeira, BMW Clube Madeira, Clube Carocha da Madeira, Clube de Automóveis Clássicos da Madeira, Clube Mini da Madeira, Fords Clássicos da Madeira, Grupo Land Rover, Grupo MG - Madeira, Grupo Volvo, Mercedes Benz Clube Portugal - Delegação Ma-deira, Motorizada Clube da Madeira, Squadra Alfa Romeo Madeira, Vespas Amigos Madeira, etc.) will be invited in order to motivate the participation in the event, of the vehi-cles of their members and supporters, subject, however, to verification by the Organization of the criteria in paragraph three, and will recommend for this purpose the maximum of one vehicle for each model, in a universe defined by the Organization.

6 - Favouring greater coverage, the Organization may invi-te to participate in the event the best Competition vehicles in the Region.

Grupo Land Rover, Grupo MG - Madeira, Grupo Volvo, Mercedes Benz Clube Portugal - Delegação Madeira, Mo-torizada Clube da Madeira, Squadra Alfa Romeo Madeira, Vespas Amigos Madeira, entre outros) serão convidados no sentido de motivarem a participação no evento, dos veículos dos seus associados e simpatizantes, sujeitan-do-se, no entanto, à verificação pela Organização dos cri-térios referidos no ponto três, sendo recomendado, para esse efeito, pelo um veículo por cada modelo, num univer-so a definir pela Organização.

6 – Privilegiando uma maior abrangência, a Organização poderá convidar para participar no evento os melhores Veículos de Competição da Região.

7 – Anualmente, poderá estar presente no evento, como apoiante, uma marca de prestígio, a quem se atribuirá um espaço específico que será referenciado com nome des-sa mesma marca de automóveis.

8 – Em cada edição, a Organização poderá decidir con-vidar um clube / grupo / associação da Região a expor os seus melhores veículos, reservando-lhe um espaço próprio.

9 – Em cada edição, a Organização procurará reservar um espaço específico para a celebração das efemérides relacionadas com comemorações várias ou mesmo com o aniversário de marcas ou de modelos.

10 – A Organização poderá limitar o número de partici-pantes caso se exceda o máximo previsto, em função do espaço destinado ao evento.

11 – Os veículos serão expostos de acordo com a orien-tação que a Organização definir para a respectiva edição. Os participantes deverão comparecer, impreterivelmente, à hora estabelecida pela Organização, que conferirá o número que lhe foi atribuído e indicará o lugar de cada veículo, onde este deverá, obrigatoriamente, permanecer até à hora definida para a saída, salvo indicação contrária da própria Organização.

12 – Durante o dia, em hora a definir pela Organização, decorrerão os: “Concurso de Restauro”, “Concurso de Originalidade” e o “Concurso de Elegância”.

13 – Para os “Concurso de Restauro” e “Concurso de Originalidade” só poderão concorrer os veículos cujos participantes assim o indicarem no respectivo Boletim de Inscrição (cumprindo as respectivas indicações nele previstas) e aceites pela Organização, a favor da qual é reconhecida competência para efeitos da validação dos respectivos critérios de ingresso e participação.

De entre os inscritos para os “Concurso de Restauro”, a Organização, através dos respectivos júris, procederá a uma pré-seleção dos veículos, de 10 automóveis, 10 motos e 5 bicicletas, a divulgar no próprio dia do evento, e sobre os quais recairá a escolha final, para a atribuição dos respectivos prémios.

7 - Each year, a prestigious make may be present at the event, as a supporter, who will be assigned a specific spa-ce located in Largo da Paz, which, during the event, will be referred to by the name of that car make.

8 - In each edition, the organization may decide to invite a club / group / association of the region to exhibit their best vehicles, reserving them their own space.

9 - In each edition, the Organization shall endeavor to re-serve a specific space for the celebration of anniversaries related to various celebrations or even with the anniver-sary of makes or models.

10 - The Organization may limit the number of participants if these exceed the maximum capacity, depending on the space assigned for the event.

11 - The vehicles will be exhibited according to the spa-ces and locations set by the Organization for each edition. Participants should arrive sharp at the time established by the Organization, who will check the number assigned and indicate the place of each vehicle, where it must compul-sorily stay until the departure time, unless otherwise sta-ted by the Organization itself.

12 - During the day, at a time to be set by the Organiza-tion, the “Restoration Contest”, “Originality Contest” and the “Concours d’Elegance” will take place.

13 - On the “Restoration Contest” and “Originality Contest” only the vehicles whose participants specificaly indicated their appliance on their entry form (fulfilling in-dications in the same) and were accepted by the Organi-zation, who has recognized competence for the purpose of validating criteria for their entry and participation, will participate.

Among the subscribers to the “Restoration Contest”, the Organization, through their juries will carry out a pre-selec-tion of vehicles, 10 cars, 10 motorcycles and 5 bicycles, to be announced on the day of the event, among which the final choice will be made in order to find the winner of the respective prizes.

The pre-selected vehicles will be exhibited at a venue to be determined by the Organization where their owners, or their representatives, should remain to monitor and facili-tate access to the same by the jury.

The pre-selected for the “Restoration Contest”, (10 cars, 10 motorcycles and 5 bicycles) will parade in Alameda Reid’s, according to the defined route indicated by the Or-ganization for the purpose being presented to the public. During the parade, and in front of the jury, each of these vehicles will remain stopped while their “story” some of its features and details of interest will be identified. After the presentation of these vehicles, each should return to the place where it was exhibited.

The winning vehicles will return to run that same route for the distribution of the respective prizes at the end of the ceremony.

Os veículos pré-selecionados serão expostos em local a definir pela Organização, onde os respectivos proprietá-rios, ou os seus representantes, devem permanecer para acompanhar e facilitar o acesso do júri aos mesmos.

Os veículos pré-selecionados para o ”Concurso de Res-tauro” (10 automóveis, 10 motos e 5 bicicletas) desfilarão na Alameda Reid´s, de acordo com o percurso definido e indicado pela Organização para o efeito, sendo, desta forma, presentes ao júri e ao público. Durante o desfile, e em frente ao júri, cada um desses veículos permanecerá parado enquanto será referida a sua “história” e identi-ficadas algumas das suas características e pormenores de interesse. Após a apresentação dos desses veículos, cada um regressará ao local onde se encontrava exposto.

Os veículos vencedores voltarão, no final, a circular nesse mesmo percurso para a atribuição dos respectivos pré-mios.

No “Concurso de Elegância” participam todos os veícu-los expostos.

Os veículos pertencentes aos elementos da Organização poderão estar expostos mas não serão elegíveis em qual-quer dos concursos.

14 – O Júri do “Concurso de Restauro”, a que corres-ponderá o prémio de “Best of Show”, será constituído por técnicos, preferencialmente, e sempre que possível, oriundos de fora da RAM, que classificarão os veículos, atendendo aos seguintes parâmetros:

Para os automóveis: São seguidos os critérios interna-cionais para este tipo de concursos.Para as motos: 1. Aspecto Geral 2. Pintura 3. Motor 4. Instrumentos 5. Estofamento 6. Pneus e jantes.Para as bicicletas: 1. Aspecto Geral 2. Pintura 3. Estofa-mento 4. Pneus e jantes.

A cada um destes parâmetros (motos e bicicletas) será aplicada uma classificação de 0 a 100 (crescente por or-dem de importância).

Será vencedor o veículo mais pontuado.

Em caso de empate o veículo “Best of Show” será esco-lhido, por voto secreto, entre os elementos do júri.

15 – Para o “Concurso de Originalidade”, a que cor-responderá o “Prémio Originalidade”, o mesmo júri do “Concurso de Restauro” escolherá o veículo mais original e em melhor estado, entre aqueles que nunca sofreram um restauro profundo, tendo apenas sido mantidos em bom estado de conservação desde o seu fabrico.

Para a aferição do vencedor, o júri, classificará, cada veí-culo, utilizando a mesma escala de 0 a 100 (crescente por ordem de importância).

In the “Concours d’Elegance” all participating vehicles exhibited will be considered.

Vehicles belonging to members of the organization may be exposed but will not be eligible for any of the contests.

14 - The Jury of the “Restoration Contest”, which will also decide on the prize “Best of Show” will be compo-sed of technicians, preferably, and whenever possible, from other parts other than from the Region, and will clas-sify the vehicles, according to the following parameters:

For cars: the international criteria for such competitions will be followedFor motorcycles: 1. General Appearance 2. Painting 3. Motor 4. Instruments 5. Upholstery 6. Tyres and rims.For bicycles: 1. General Appearance 2. Painting 3. Upholstery 4. Tyres and rims.

In each of these parameters (bicycles and motorcycles) a rating from 0 to 100 (increasing order of importance) will be applied.

The winner will be the vehicles with the highest score.

In case of a tie the vehicle “Best of Show” will be selec-ted by secret ballot among the members of the jury.

15 - For the “Originality Contest”, which will correspond to the “Originality Award”, the same jury of the “Resto-ration Contest”,will choose the most original and best kept vehicle, among those who have never suffered a deep restoration, having only been kept in good condition since their manufacture.

To find the winner, the jury will classify each vehicle, using the same scale from 0 to 100 (increasing order of impor-tance).

The score resulting from the application of this criteria for the “Originality Award” may be increased if the owner or his representative, or the team that accompanies the vehicle, will appear in costume of the time of the vehicle, taking into consideration the age and nature of the vehicle and depending on the accuracy of the costume.

In case of a tie the same system used in the “Restoration Contest” will apply.

16 - The jury of the “Concours d’Elegance” will consist of three or five persons outside the organization, linked to activities within art and design who will be invited as jury. The winner will be the most voted and considered the “Most Stylish” vehicle in the exhibition. In case of a tie the winner will be chosen by secret ballot among the mem-bers of the jury of the “Restoration Contest” and an ele-ment of the Organization.

17 - Participating vehicles will be, according to their year of construction, grouped by make, in the area reserved by country and manufacturers, and integrated in the following categories:Class A - Car.Class B - Motorcycles.

A pontuação resultante da aplicação dos critérios defini-dos anteriormente para o apuramento do “Prémio Origi-nalidade” poderá ser majorada caso o proprietário, o seu representante, ou a equipa que acompanha o veículo, se apresente trajada a rigor, atendendo à época e à natureza do veículo, em função do rigor do traje.

Em caso de empate a forma utilizada para o desempate será a mesma aplicada no “Concurso de Restauro”.

16– O júri do “Concurso de Elegância” será constituído por três ou cinco personalidades não pertencentes à Or-ganização, convidadas por esta, ligadas a atividades no âmbito das artes e do design.

Será vencedor o veículo mais votado e considerado o “O mais Elegante” do certame. Em caso de empate o veí-culo vencedor será escolhido, por voto secreto, entre os elementos do júri do “Concurso de Restauro” e um ele-mento da Organização.

17 – Os veículos participantes serão, conforme o seu ano de construção, agrupados por marca, nas áreas reserva-das aos respectivos países fabricantes, e integrados nas seguintes categorias:Classe A – AutomóveisClasse B - Motos.Classe C - Bicicletas.Classe D - Outras Viaturas Motorizadas (excepto motos).

18 – Prémios.

Será atribuído ao vencedor de cada concurso, os seguin-tes prémios:

For all classes, the Organization also distinguishes the owner, his representative or the escort team to whom it recognizes the appropriate costume, given also the time of their vehicle, with the “ECM Award” - “Belle Époque”.

All vehicles participating in the event will receive a “Certifi-cate of Participation”.

The so called “Masters” are the winning vehicles of any class, in any edition, with the prize for “Best of Show” (“Restoration Contes”), being reserved for them a spe-cial place in the Alameda Reid’s in the following editions of the event, and given the possibility of admission to new competition in the space of five editions after the one in which they were distinguished. This rule for admission to new competition also applies to all winning vehicles of pri-zes like “Originality Contest “ and “Concours d’Elegance”, for any of the classes mentioned in this Regulation and their “Contests”.

19 - The awards ceremony will take place at a time desig-nated by the Organization, always by the premises of the Reid’s Palace Hotel, where all distinguished vehicles must attend according to the indications of the Organization.

20 - The exhibited vehicles should be removed from the venue after the prize-giving ceremony, respecting the gui-delines of the Organization for this purpose, allowing a fi-nal parade which will include the passage by the public, their identification and reference to their characteristics (make, model, year, and contestant).

To ensure an orderly and effective operation, all compe-titors will stay next to their vehicles, after the closing of

Para todas as Classes, é, ainda, distinguido o proprietário, o seu representante, ou a equipa acompanhante a quem a Organização reconheça maior rigor do traje, atendendo, também à época do respectivo veículo, com o “Prémio ECM” - “Belle Époque”.

A todos os veículos participantes no evento será entregue o respectivo “Certificado de Participação”.

São designados por “Masters” os Veículos vencedores, de qualquer uma das classes, em qualquer edição do evento, dos prémios de “Best of Show” (“Concurso de Restauro”), sendo-lhes reservado, nas edições seguin-tes do evento, um espaço próprio na Alameda Reid’s e conferida a possibilidade de admissão a novo concurso a partir da quinta edição a contar da seguinte aquela em que foram distinguidos. Esta regra de admissão a novo concurso também se aplica a todos os veículos vence-dores dos prémios de “Originalidade” (“Concurso de Originalidade”) e “O Mais Elegante” (“Concurso de Elegância”), de qualquer uma das classes previstas nes-te Regulamento e para os respectivos “Concursos”.

19 – Decorrerá, em hora a definir pela Organização, a ce-rimónia de entrega de prémios, a todos os veículos distin-guidos, no local definido por aquela e que será, sempre, junto às instalações do Hotel Reid´s Palace, onde os mes-mos devem comparecer de acordo com as indicações da Organização.

20 – Os veículos expostos deverão ser retirados do local do evento após a cerimónia de entrega de prémios, res-peitando as orientações da Organização para esse efeito, permitindo a realização de um desfile final que contempla-rá na passagem pelo público, a identificação dos mesmos e a alusão às suas características (marca, modelo, ano, e concorrente).

Para garantir uma operação ordeira e eficaz, todos os concorrentes deverão colocar-se junto às respectivas via-turas, logo após o encerramento da cerimónia de entrega de prémios e aguardar as indicações da Organização.

Aos participantes com mais de um veículo, a Organização recomenda a prevenção desta operação com o recurso a outros condutores devidamente habilitados.

21 – A área de exposição dos veículos será delimitada para evitar o contacto direto do público com os mesmos, sendo admitida a presença naquela zona, apenas da Or-ganização, do proprietário, do seu representante, ou da equipa que o acompanha e dos membros dos júris dos concursos de Restauro, Originalidade e Elegância.

A Organização não responderá por qualquer dano pes-soal ou provocado aos veículos participantes, nem relati-vamente a quaisquer bens deixados no interior dos mes-mos.

The Organization is not liable for any personal injury cau-sed to participants or vehicles, nor with respect to any pro-perty left within them.
