Windows Movie Maker 2.1 is an extremely
versatile software program for creating
your own movies from either digital video
or digital photographs. You can freely add
graphics and sounds from the web to
enliven your productions. WMM2 is an
excellent choice, especially since it is free
to users of Windows XP.

A Word About Video Capture
Capturing video can be done….
1) By using a digital video camcorder and directly recording you own video.
2) By using products like “Dazzle” to capture video directly from existing VCR tapes.
3) By using your digital video camcorder as a “pass through” device between VCR and PC.
Adding Sound to Movie Maker 2.1
Sound files can be added to WMM2 to add both music and special effects.
Sound files supported include mp3, wav, or au format, although wav files are the most common for effects,
and mp3 is the most common for music.
