DAY ONE

Report to Mumbai Central Station at 19:30 Hrs. Board train at 21:25 Hrs.

DAY TWO

Train journey.

DAY THREE

Reach Amritsar at 5:40 Hrs. Check into the Hotel. Proceed for Industrial Visit after breakfast. Return to hotel for lunch and rest. Visit the Golden Temple in the evening.

Return to the hotel for dinner. Prepare to leave for Kashmir!

DAY FOUR

Reach Amritsar Station by 12:30 Hrs. (Departure 1:10 Hrs)

Overnight in train. Reach Jammu at 6:15 Hrs. Leave for Srinagar. Check into Srinagar Hotel for Lunch and Rest. Local sightseeing in Srinagar.

DAY FIVE

Sightseeing at Pahalgalm.

Pahalgam is a town and India's northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir at a height of 7200m from sea level. The town is at the junction of the Aru and Sheshnag Rivers and surrounded by soaring, fir-covered mountains with bare, snow-capped peaks rising behind them. The valley offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Himalayan Ranges. Pahalgam is the base camp for the renowned pilgrimage to Amarnath and also a famous shopping place for woolen products. It forms a part of the region in Asia where Saffron is growing. Pahalgam valley is perfectly suitable for adventurous activities like golf, horse riding, trekking and many water sports. The unexplored undulating hilly terrains,meadows and the plain valley regions are equally eye catching.

DAY SIX

Sightseeing at Gulmarg.

Gulmarg (translation: "Meadow of Flowers") is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination at an altitude of 2730m. Nestled with stunning peaks in the Himalayan ranges, Gulmarg is a spectacular picnic spot attracted by all kinds of tourists with its lush green backdrop, beautiful landscapes, flowering gardens, serene lakes and pleasant climate during the summers and falls. Gulmarg is an eye catching place with picturesque surroundings, beautiful gardens with amazing flowers and fragrance, and the tranquil atmosphere available presently in this region makes it a best tourist destination.

DAY SEVEN

Sightseeing at Sonamarg.

Sonamarg (translation: "Meadow of Gold") is a hill station at an altitude of 2800m from sea level, is yet another spectacular place to get rid of the scorching heat of summer season. Sonmarg is a tranquil place set amongst the glaciers and azure lakes, Sonmarg is a place adorned with large trees of fir, silver birch, pine and alpine flowers. The turquoise and chilly water of Sind river that meanders through the region, enhance the beauty of Sonmarg. Similar to Gulmarg, Sonmarg is also a paradise for both the tourists and the adventure buffs.

DAY EIGHT

Early morning breakfast and local sightseeing. After lunch leave for Jammu Station. Board train in the evening from Jammu.

DAY NINE

Reach Ambala Cantt. Junction(Haryana) at 05:00 Hrs. Board train for Mumbai at 6:30 Hours.

Reach Mumbai.

PLACES TO VISIT:

Golden Temple

The Golden Temple is not only a central Religious place of the Sikhs, but also a symbol of

Indian heritage, philosophy and tranquillity. It is a matter of experience more than description.

Famous Mughal Gardens - Chashmeshahi, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh

The Nishat Bagh is a lovely garden with its 12 terraces representing the 12 signs of the zodiac, which descend gradually and seem to almost merge into the lake. It is situated on the banks of world famous Dal Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills. With its flowerbeds, trees, fountains, the Nishat presents a dramatic sight.

Set some distance back from the lake, but reached by a small canal, the Shalimar were built by Emperor Jehangir

for his wife Nur Jahan, 'light of the world' in 1616. Although it is known today as the 'garden of love'. 

Sri Shankarcharya Temple

Lord Shiva’s Shankaracharya Temple is the oldest shrine in Kashmir. it is not only important from religious point of view, but also of great archaeological importance. It has lots of architectural uniqueness, with Persian inscriptions at the temple wall that dates back to Emperor Shah Jahan’s time.

Hazarat-Bal Dargah

The Hazrathalbal Shirne, which is situated on the left bank of the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. This unmatched reverence

is anchored in the love and respect for Prophet Mohammad. This palatial building, Ishrat mahal or Pleasure House

was constructed in 1623.

Dal Lake

The lake is popular as a visitor attraction and a summer resort and is nicknamed the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir".
