I. THE “UNIVERSAL” CHURCH

II. THE LOCAL CHURCH

Sungai Nibong Gospel Hall(21 July, 2013)

One Head and One BodyTwo areas where the Local Church should reflect the Universal Church:

1) HE IS THE HEAD of the body, the church… that in all things He might have the pre-eminence. Col. 1:18

…and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all. Eph. 1:22f

2) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: SO ALSO IS CHRIST. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles…and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. I Cor. 12:12-14

He is the HEAD of the Church
