North America is the World's third-largest continent

It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Arctic Ocean to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

The eastern side of the continent is generally lower than the west which contains the Rocky mountains.

The five Great Lakes lie on the United States Canadian border.

The highest mountain is Mt McKinley in Alaska (6,194 m) and the longest river is the Mississippi (3,765 km).

Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona.

The Grand Canyon is (446 km) long, up to (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 meters)

Nearly two billion years of the Earth's geological history has been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted.

The Grand Canyon is not the deepest or the longest canyon in the world but the overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape offers visitor spectacular vistas that are unmatched throughout the world.

Manhattan has been described as the economic and cultural center of the United States and is home to the United Nations Headquarters.

Wall Street in Lower Manhattan is one of the financial capitals of the world .

It is home of both the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations)

Manhattan's real estate market is among the most expensive in the world

Golden Gate Bridge The Golden Gate Bridge is a

suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the strait between San Francisco and Marin County to the north.

The Golden Gate Bridge was the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937, and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California.

The famous red-orange color of the bridge was specifically chosen to make the bridge more easily visible through the thick fog that frequently shrouds the bridge.

Niagara Falls

Situated between the state of New York and the province of Ontario, Niagara Falls is one of the most spectacular natural wonders on the North American continent.

Niagara Falls is actually three different falls, the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls.

With more than 14 million visitors each year it is one of the most visited tourist attraction in the world.

The gambling mecca of the world, Las Vegas is situated in the midst of the southern Nevada desert landscape.

Casinos can be found throughout Las Vegas, but the strip, a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South, contains the most of them.

ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK,ONTARIO Located between the Georgian Bay and the

Ottawa River is the Algonquin Provincial Park. Because it is very close to the centers of Toronto and Ottawa, it is one of the most popular attractions in Canada.

The area has become acknowledged by nature preservationists because of its stunning beauty.

It is home to many year-round outdoor activities and it is also equipped with 1200 campsites.

Visitors can learn more about the natural and cultural history of the country; they can enjoy a fishing or horseback riding experience or simply view the beautiful landscape from the Algonquin Room

The CN Tower is a 553.33 m-high (1,815.4 ft) concrete communications and observation tower in Ontario, Canada.

Built on the former Railway Lands, it was completed in 1976, becoming the world's tallest free-standing structure and world's tallest tower at the time.

It held both records for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower in 2010.

It remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, a signature icon of Toronto's skyline, and a symbol of Canada, attracting more than two million international visitors annually.

Its name "CN" originally referred to Canadian National, the railway company that built the tower. CN Tower is the world's 5th tallest free-standing structure.

In 1995, the CN Tower was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It also belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers, where it holds second-place ranking.

The Jasper National Park in Alberta Canada is the largest National Reservation of the Rocky Mountains.

It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 together with the other national and provincial parks of the Canadian Rockies

The Park is home to a large variety of stunning natural scenery, waterfalls, canyons, lakes, glaciers and mountains.

It’s definitely one of the most magnificent tourist attractions in Canada which offers visitors the chance to hike, fish, river raft or camp.

The waterfront in Toronto consists of 10 acres of sheer beauty. Harborfront Centre is a key cultural organization on Toronto

Established as a crown corporation in 1972 by the federal government to create a waterfront park, it became a non-profit organization in 1991.

Harborfront Centre has a seating capacity of 2,000.

Harborfront Centre works with over 450 community organizations, and hosts more than 4,000 events a year in many disciplines such as theatre, dance, literature, music, film, visual arts and fine craft.

Approximately 12 million people visit the waterfront of Toronto annually.
