SET-UP• After the cooling system is sufficiently

cooled, remove the radiator or cooling system reservoir cap.

• Select the Adapter Cap [D] configura-tion that most closely matches the cap removed in the previous step.

• Securely attach the selected Adaptor Cap to the radiator or cooling system reservoir and latch in place of the permanent cap (FIG 1).

• The Funnel Assembly MUST be kept level to operate properly. If the filler neck is at an angle or in a difficult to reach location, determine which combination of accessory 45° elbows and or extension pipe is needed to adequately reach it (FIGS 2 & 3).

GRAVITY BLEED METHOD• Keep the Center Stem in the UP position to allow the free release of trapped air as it bubbles up

through the coolant in the Funnel. Let the engine run at an idle only. DO NOT run above idle as this can cause a dangerous surge of hot coolant.

• Add coolant to Funnel while engine is running if required.

• When all bubbling stops, shut off engine, push the Center Stem down firmly to close the seal at the bottom of the Funnel Assembly.

• Unlatch Adapter Cap from radiator or cooling system reservoir filler neck and carefully pull the entire assembly away and pour any coolant remaining in Funnel Assembly into a suitable coolant jug.

• Replace original cap on radiator or cooling system reservoir filler neck.

PRESSURE METHOD• Push the Center Stem downward firmly to engage the seal at the bottom of the Funnel Assem-

bly. Let the engine run at an idle only. DO NOT run above idle as this can cause a dangerous surge of hot coolant.

• Allow bleed air to escape through the clear tube at the center of the Center Stem

• When all air escape stops, shut off engine, keep the Center Stem closed at the bottom of the Funnel Assembly.

• Unlatch Adapter Cap form radiator or cooling system reservoir filler neck and carefully pull the entire assembly away. Pour any coolant remaining in the Funnel into a suitable coolant jug.

• Replace original cap on radiator or cooling system reservoir filler neck.
