ITEC 564 - IT Capstone Projects
Fall 2016
Project Results – Our clients now have a dependable personal computer that they can use for surfing the web and writing in Microsoft Word. The quote from the cell phone company the group obtained will allow our client to confidently upgrade his phone knowing upfront the great deal he is receiving. Future Recommendations - Use your time wisely and delegate as earlier as possible. Time can quickly get away from you because of scheduling conflicts, so prepare secondary dates and complete tasks as soon as possible.
Project Results and Future
Recommendations
The project consisted of finding out our clients’ needs and meeting them within a semester’s time frame. We had to find out what our client would like to learn, provide them with a choice of technologies that would accomplish tasks they would like to complete, develop a process to teach them said skills, and make sure the quality of our work is outstanding throughout life of the project.
Project Description• Functional workstation that allowed them to
keep in touch with family (video call with Skype) and complete daily task (writing, emailing, surfing the web).
• Software to complete daily tasks such as writing, emailing, and surfing the web. Our clients would also like
• Assistance with upgrading cellular devices.
Specific Client Needs
In order for the clients to consider the project successful, we must meet their needs. According to our clients, the following were essential to them agreeing the project was a success:
• Clients must have a personal computer that meets the requirements for the tasks they wish to complete.
• Clients must have a better understanding of how to use their personal computer, which would be accomplished through workshops\ training sessions the project team holds.
