Safety and security have been a major concern of ours and we are looking into it so deep that we don’t want to leave anything for its implementation. We have raised the railings high so that no mishappening should take place. Apart from it we have established hand rails in the staircase. Safety tips have been put up in each and every corner. In the session 2017-18 we get toilets constructed exclusively for the bus drivers, conductors, and other labourers. The Guards’ cabin has been kept at the main gate and the visitors are not allowed to enter the school without making entries in the visitors register. We have installed CCTV cameras in buses and we not only have a lady conductor with each bus but also lady sweepers for girl’s toilet. Safety drills like fire Evacuation or Evacuation for any emergency are in constant practice. The emergency exits plans have been put up for the same. For safe arrival and dispersal, the teachers are on their toes. They are posted to take care of the students in the lunch break as well. First aid kits have been maintained and kept at various places. We have a safety committee which looks into the safety issues. Fire extinguishers have been kept at every part of the building. Time to time we have counselling sessions for the bus drivers and conductors. Safety tips are given to the students very frequently. Teachers are also trained to adopt the safety measures.

During the session 2018-19 much work was done for the cleanliness of the premises and for the beautification as well. If you visit my pre primary or primary area, at once you will understand that the aesthetic sense of the children has been well groomed and they have showcased their creativity and imagination marvellously. Every toilet is cleaned three to four times a day. For girls toilet we have lady sweepers and they are working religiously. Similarly, we have lady conductors for buses as girls’ safety and concern is in our top list.

Coffee morning with parents, Parents teachers association orientation programme have been organised with the thought of connecting parents with the students and teachers to make a complete triangle of growth in which everyone plays a very significant role. Without the parents’ involvement, we cannot move.

We are the creators, we make the future citizens. Therefore we are much alert about the career of our students. We organise career counselling for students of senior classes. So that they don't become hesitant in choosing their career path. Time to time we organise workshop for teachers to enhance their

capabilities and skills. They are enriched and committed to do better next time. They are also sent to attend different workshops.

Different festivals fill our life with joy and colour and also impart in us the traditional values of our forefathers. We celebrate every festival in the school to make our students acquainted with our culture and heritage and also to develop a brotherly attitude towards each and every religion and community. We celebrate Holi, Eid, Diwali and Christmas with a grand festivity and special Assemblies are organised on the base of these themes.

Health is wealth believing in this saying; we take much care of our students and have invited a medical team from outside for our students’ intensive health check-up. Time to time health talks are conducted to make our children more health conscious and the doctor from our centre as well as from outside address the children on certain health issues. Apart from it the health screening of our teachers also done, so that they may be fit, proactive and productive.

Our Schools library is a huge library with various kinds of books on almost all the subjects. Our library is equipped with a high standard of infrastructure.

Our all the Labs namely Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Social Science are well equipped

with all the necessities and are maintained well.

We have started the Remedial classes for the slow-learners as well as for the toppers in the afternoon. The classes are for two hours where all the subject teachers teach them religiously. We have developed a concept of ‘school after school’ where we provide quality coaching with zero fee, many students have been enriched by these classes.

Plants are our life and without plants our life cannot be possible. They add the beauty to the ambience as well. Children should be sensitized to plant and to take care of them .If the saplings are planted by the children themselves it will develop a sense of attachment in them. To develop the value of planting and protecting we had a mega tree plantation in our school where trees were planted by the children individually, and this practice is on every year.

To hone the skill of our teachers, the management is committed and organises different training programmes for them. As I have already mentioned that our children’s safety and security is foremost for us. We don’t leave any stone unturned for it. In the last Session we had first-aid training for our teachers with this view that in case of any accident or miss happening, our teachers can be proven life-savers by using first aid tactics and they can become a Good Samaritan. Hope for the best endeavours in future with support of all stake holders. Nurul Haque Principal
