Puliamo il Mondo (Clean Up the World) is an associated branch which empowers communities around the globe to clean, fix up and conserve their environment. 4. #SocialJustice GOEL The Co-operative Group GOEL deals with: . Unemployment . Regional development . Social and economic justice. It promotes social enterprise as the main instrument of redemption of the excluded and marginalized social groups in our area. Libera is committed to build up organizational synergies between the political and cultural local realities capable of promoting a culture of lawfulness. It was founded in 1955 by don Ciotti, a catholic priest and its main goals are: . The re-use of the real estates confiscated from organized crime. . The fight against corruption. . The anti-usury activities. Libera Memory On March 21st every year, we celebrate the Day of Memory and Commitment to commemorate all victims of mafias. The Day of Memory gives these relatives the chance to reflect on their mourning as they search for real justice, transforming their pain into an effective, and non-violent, instrument of peace and change. The program is also committed to creating a database of victims of the mafia in order to rekindle the memory of the many whose life was unjustly taken. 7. #DrugAddictsHelp Exodus 8. #DrugAddictsHelp Exodus The Exodus project, designed by Don Mazzi in 1979, deals with the struggle for the practical implementation of alternative routes to prison for ex-terrorists and ex-drug addicts. The activity of Exodus is addressed to persons who live in a state of hardship, addiction or serious social marginalization. It has over 40 centers in Italy. . Africo, home of the donMilani2 Project that offers the possibility of achieving a qualification to pupils with severe learning difficulties. . Caccuri, the Exodus residence, with its residential care programs, primary prevention and active training. The Exodus centers in Calabria are: . S. Stefano in Aspromonte, hosting young people from stories of extreme social unrest. It combines teamwork with individual attention and respect of the person. 9. #DisastersAid Protezione Civile The Civil Protection represents all those activities which take place in order to restore goods and enviromental damages, but also to help aiding injured people after a disaster. The National Service works on a central, regional and local level. 10. #Volunteering CSV CSV stands for Centro Servizi per il Volontariato di Vibo Valentia. It does always its best to provide resources to several volounteering organizations, thanks to regional founds only. In 2004 the CSV recieved an official contribution and became a provincial centre with the only purpouse of investing in volounteering fields such as medical, supporting retired and people with special needs. 11. #IntegrationOfSpecialNeeds Rose Blu The non-profit organization Rose Blu was born in 2001 from a previous community called Papa Giovanni XXIII and has his local headquarter in Reggio Calabria. The main mission is to make available a number of services and even work opportunities to people with special needs. The association provides substainability for them. It has always been its goal opening houses where those people can find a true family to live with. 12. #WomenFirst Noemi Noemi was first founded on 6 january 1997, as a promoter of social integration. For years it has been carried on by volunteers and religious people. The association has been an important leader for many women, helping to get a better relationship within families affected by frequent discomforts towards her. The name Noemi is took from a Bible female character, who comes across dramatic episodes which made her understand the huge importance of others people support. 13. #GoodsSupport The Food Bank is a non- profit foundation that deals with the Italian food collection and recovery of surplus food from the industrial agricultural production. The cooperative Marro Valley was born in December 2004, is located in Gioia Tauro, in the land confiscated from the Mafia. In the agriculture managing are involved 100 hectares of land. But, the most important goal is its educational projects on the legality for young people. This is the first cooperative in Calabria who occupies the property confiscated from the mafia to give young people the chance to have a place where to work. 14. #PreservingOurLandascape FAI FAI (Italian Environment Fund) is committed to educate, protect and bring attention to the artistic and environmental heritage of the Italian territory. The FAI restores and reopens the public monuments of our country which are entrusted by donation or grant. On October 13th 2013 our school has participated to the 'Aspiring Cicero' day or the FAI Spring Day, which is an annual event organized by FAI where people have the chance to visit hundreds of amazing places in Italy normally close to the public with the support of Ciceroni (voluntary guides for a day). 15.
