You will receive a message confirming your registration and, once the course has been activated, all the details for payment of the registration fee. Materials There are no textbooks for the May-June courses. We use materials prepared by the teacher. Course registration fees 80€ - four lesson courses 180€ - intensive beginners’ course Fees must be paid by bank transfer according to the instructions contained in our confirmation e-mail. Registration fees shall not be refunded after the beginning of the course. *** The CILS Diploma (Certificate of Knowledge of Italian as Foreign Language), issued by the University for Foreigners in Siena, certifies your knowledge of Italian, is valid throughout the world, and does not expire. The next exam date for all levels (A1-C2) is on 4 June 2020. The Institute is a CILS centre, so if you wish to challenge yourself and take the test, register with us!

Plus courses reinforce and review what you have learned during the spring term.
If you attended the level A1.1 course in the spring, you can sign up to the A1.1+
course in the summer term. In order to attend a PLUS course, you must have
studied Italian previously (in years) as follows:
Structure and content of the Italian courses
The course levels correspond to A1-C2 levels of the Common European Framework
of Reference. You can find more detailed descriptions on the IIC website. Courses
combine the study of language structures with the development of oral and written
expression and the knowledge of Italian culture. Classes are held once a week and
last 90 minutes.
For the summer session of May-June there are four classes of 90
minutes.
*The Intensive beginners’ course includes ten classes meeting twice a
week.
