SCHEDULE Day 1: Arrival

Monday : 20/10/2014

English, Turkish and Spanish partners arrive in Apricena.

Host families welcome the guests and teachers leave for the B&b

Day 2 Tuesday :21/10/2014

09:00-09:30: Meeting at school

Welcome reception

Visiting the classes, labs.

10:00-12:30: Leaving the school for a guided visit to the “Azienda Agro-Alimentare

CANGA Cooperativa” ( http://www.coopcanga.it/ )

Presentation on olive oil extraction process and pasta making process.

13:00: Back to school and leaving for lunch.

15:00- 16:00 Visiting the exibition “Paesaggi archeologici lungo le vie francigene”

16:30 Meeting at school.

17:30- 20:00 Folkloristic and gastronomic event organised by families and students with special

participation of the Musical Folkloristic Group “Lycosa – Musiche e danze popolari”

of Apricena

Day 3- Wednesday:22/10/2014

07:30 Departure from school for a day trip to historical and coastal places Trani, Castel Del

20:00 Arrival to Apricena and leaving for dinner

Day 4- Thursday:23/10/2014

07:30 Departure from school for a day trip to a guided Tour of Gargano – San Giovanni

Rotondo, Monte Sant’Angelo, Foresta Umbra, Vieste, Peschici, Vico del G. (pic-nic with

packed lunches)

20:00 Arrival to Apricena and leaving for dinner

Day 4- Friday:24/10/2014

05:30 Farewell to our Spanish guests

08:30 Departure from school for a guided excursion in the lagoon of Lesina by catamaran and

visit to the Flora and Fauna Reserve of Bosco Isola (pic-nic with packed lunches for

students)

19:30 Arrival to Apricena and leaving for dinner

Pizza making for teachers at Claudio’s

Day 5-Saturday: 25/04/2014

07:00 Farewell to our English guests

09:00-10-00 Meeting at school with Turkish partners

Visit of the weekly local Food Market Place

10:00 -12:00 Photo Contest and Quiz at school

17:00 Free afternoon for souvenirs shopping
