• Back then, we used the EPA training manual, Applying Pesticides Correctly

Then in 1983 . . .• Wisconsin

created its own training manual, specific to Wisconsin’s agriculture and concerns

• This ‘first edition’ then became . . .

. . . the second edition in 1988

. . . the third edition in 1993

. . . the fourth edition in 1998

. . . the fifth edition in 2003

. . . and the sixth edition in 2008!

choice questions• There is only one correct

answer per question• You may use your training

manual as a reference to help you during your exam

• You have 2 hours to complete the exam

• You need at least a 50% passing score

• You should get your card within 2 weeks of taking your exam. If not, call WDATCP at (608) 224-4548

If you fail an exam . . .• WDATCP will

inform you that you’ll need to retake the exam before certification can be granted
