What is the IT Academy? Free, online, self-paced technology training programs from Microsoft.
Available to you through an agreement between the: • BTC Library, • Washington State Library,• Washington State Legislature, • & Microsoft.

• ITA training through BTC is FREE to BTC Students, Staff, and Community Partners
• Bellingham Public Library and Whatcom County Library System libraries are offering ITA training for free to the public.

• Set up (or have) a Microsoft email account• Choose your Learning Plan(s) • Get your Enrollment Code(s)• Enroll
Create a free MS Email Account

Choose Your Learning Plans1. Using Internet Explorer, go to the library’s homepage:

2. Click on the “Microsoft IT Academy” link
3. Click on the “Learning Plans” tab
4. Spend a few minutes reviewing the Learning Plans
5. Choose at least one that you’d like to enroll in today

Find Your Learning Plan(s) Enrollment Codes
Enroll in Your Courses – step by step
1. http://itacademy.microsoft.com/
2. Sign with your Microsoft Account
3. Find your name in the upper right-hand corner and click on the drop down arrow
4. Redeem your access code, by clicking on “here”
5. Enter your Learning Plan Enrollment code and Email address
6. Submit!
To add additional Learning Plans, click on the drop down arrow next to your name in the upper right hand corner and follow the link!
