Please Note: **Early morning natural light may be an issue in bedrooms - therefore a daylight dimmer may be required. There are restrictions on Solatube Daylighting System’s performance, mainly affected by the distance between ceiling and roof. Longer lengths, shadowy areas, or in extraordinary situations, e.g. very dark décor, a larger size Solatube Daylighting System may be required outside the above charts’ recommendations. Hallways, high stud, dark décor, wooden floors - need to upgrade to the large 290DS model. In some situations for a balanced air situation, e.g. in a bathroom or sloping ceiling, a Solatube 160DS Daylighting System with a separate mechanical ventilation (VS3004) is recommended. Always consult your Solatube professional for advice.

The HomeTech Energy Recovery System is a balanced ventilation system, it is the only product on the marketing which can set the humidity of a building through fingertip control.

Traditionally, ventilation has compromised home heating as it cools the home in winter. This is where the HomeTech Energy Recovery System (ERS) comes into a league of its own. Acting as an Energy Recovery System, once installed in the attic the ERS provides a continuous circulation of fresh, healthy air and being energy efficient maximises any wasted heat in the building. The warm, dryer air being circulated makes the building easier to heat, decreasing the energy demand while the balanced ventilation minimises dampness and condensation.
