Our Y6 children were invited to attend Blackpool Sixth Form’s performance of Les Miserable. The performance was simply amazing and the children

enjoyed every minute. As well as watching the students perform Y6 observed the different aspects of a performance including the orchestra and prop changes.

Health Passport Launch

With evidence showing that the healthy child

learns best, the teachers have devised the Revoe ‘Passport to Health’ – calling it our ‘Tree of Life’

– with 8 branches: PSHE, Science & DT, E-

Safety, PE, RE/spiritual, Art, PSHE and economic awareness.

Each ‘branch’ has three tasks for the children to complete: the bronze (collaboratively) and silver (individually) in class, and the gold a

task to be enjoyed with family at home.

Last month, Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic morning to launch the

Health Passport, with a large number of parents and extended family

attending to share with the children in the planned activities. Please support and encourage your child at home and

listen to what they are doing.

Look out for a celebration of the children’s

achievements in future assemblies and on our

display!

The Children’s University is a national programme, which aims to recognise and celebrate the learning children do outside of normal school hours. Each child who chooses to become a member of the programme will be able to collect hours of learning from a range of after school clubs as well as activities, which they have done outside of school. Outside school activities such as sport, swimming and music lessons qualify, as do learning activities at Brownies or Sea Cadets, for example. Letters have been sent home and if you would like your child to be involved, please return the permission slip and £1.00 to the school office on Monday, 16th March
