AIM won this order from BP in Iraq (Rumaila Operating Organisation) against stiff global competition and its scope under the order includes engineering, manufacture, shipping & installa-tion (at BP‟s Quraynat Degassing Station in Iraq) of four nos. dehy-drators, degasser & degasser ves-sels with sizes unto 35 m long and

3.6 m dia.

AIM recently completed the suc-cessful delivery of 63 Nos. pres-sure vessels (weighing up to 180 MT) for Sohar Refinery Improve-ment Project of DAELIM -

PETROFAC JV (ORPIC). Company was earlier awarded with this p r e s t i g i o u s o r d e r f o r “Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply of 63 Nos. Pressure Ves-

Integrated GTP plant mainly consist of multiple individual skids including skid mounted Filter Separator, Coalescer, Knock Out, Fiscal Flow Me-tering, Water Bath Heater, Start up Heater & many oth-er skids, drain vessel & vent stacks. AIM have already started delivering equipment while few skids are under its final assembly and testing

phases .

sels” of various size and com-plexity. AIM holds a significant position in contributing to the development of Sohar Refinery

Improvement Project in Oman.

Similar kind of fully Integrated modular skids were delivered to PDO in 2007 for their Gas Treat-ment Plants in Mukhaizna &

Qarnalam Power Plants.

These heating coils are predominantly used in Vessels. While developing this, a special die was manufactured in order to bend the pipe to shape

the coil.

AIM appreciates the team for it‟s effort and

achievement.

AIM‟s Engineers at Rusayl have developed an alternate cost-saving initiative by manufacturing Heating Coils (for Sohar Refinery Vessels) in-house which replaces their traditional practice of sub-contracting of these items to any recognized third party contractors thereby saving project time

& cost.

AIM through its fully Automated Pipe Spool Fabrication Plant had achieved remarkable results in fab-ricating & delivering large volume of pipe spools of various sizes &

complex metallurgies.

The project scope involves fabrica-tion of SS / CS / Alloy Steel & Ni Alloy Spools with Painting & Special

The project is nearing completion with close to 65 % of the fabricat-ed spools dispatched to site while the remaining deliveries are scheduled to complete by end

March 2016.

This state-of-the-art plant is an-other example of company‟s vi-

sion to adopt cutting edge technologies and „best of breed‟ practices locally in its

facilities.

AIM currently execute an order for “Engineering, Procurement & Supply of Storage Tanks” for BP‟s CPF Khazzan Gas Project through Petrofac. AIM scope in-volves Engineering, Procurement, Fabri-cation and Delivery of 5 Nos. large sized Fire Water, Condensate and Produced

Water Storage Tanks.

AIM‟s Manufacturing facility at Rusayl is fully equipped to handle fabrication, testing & assembly of all types of Shop & Site fabricated Storage Tanks for Energy

Sector.

AIM also execute a similar order for Amal Phase-1C Project of PDO through Client

WPOE.

AIM recently delivered a “Condensate Stabilization Col-umn” of length 34.0 m from its Sohar facility to CPF of BP‟s Khazzan Project through Client

Petrofac.

AIM have participated in HM Cup Award for best 5 Factories and its facilities had undergone a rigorous audit for 3 days in

this regard.

Based on the application pack-age submitted, the company have been assessed by a five member team appointed by Ministry of Commerce and In-dustry (MOCI). The new assess-ment model that is being im-plemented from 2015 onwards

is inspired by various interna-tional business excellence models in its basic structure, but has been significantly modified to suit to the coun-try‟s unique requirements as well as be applicable for the

manufacturing industries.

By participating in this prestig-ious award, AIM‟s progress in their journey towards manu-facturing excellence was as-sessed & will help AIM to un-

derstand the areas and func-tions which need improve-ment in their quest towards

excellence.

AIM eagerly await the out-come of evaluation which will be announced during Oman‟s

Industry Day in February 2016.
