From Social Security Administration Regional Public Affairs Office Community Outreach April is Financial Literacy Month, a month focused on educating people about the importance of planning for a secure financial future. Social Security is a vital part of any financial plan, and we have online tools to help you understand your potential Social Security benefits and how they fit into your financial plans. You should periodically review your Social Security Statement through your personal my Social Security account at www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount. Your Statement is an easy-to-read record of your earnings that determine your future benefits. Youll want to verify that your recorded earnings are correct as they affect the amount you could receive. Your Statement also provides a summary of the estimated benefits you and your family could receive, including potential retirement, disability, and survivors benefits. The online Statement is paired with an interactive Retirement Calculator that allows you to run additional benefit estimate scenarios comparing how different future earnings and retirement benefit start dates affect your benefit amount. Start focusing on your financial literacy today. Log in to your my Social Security account and view your Statement. If you dont have an account, create one at www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount. Cascade AIDS Project Owen O'Neill is now the Peer Support Team Lead Rob Ingwerson (previous Peer Support Specialist) is CAP’s new .5 FTE HIV/STI Testing

Counselor. In this role Rob will provide testing, linkage to care services, and support to our Pivot team.

Kyle McQuillan is moving into the Housing Program Assistant role. Kyle will be

coordinating medical motels, entering all the TriMet Fare Relief data into a specialized database, CAREWare uploading, Reception and Service Center coverage, and a variety of other tasks

Kristen Cedar, CAP Housing Services Team Lead will ve moving to Multnomah County HIV

Clinic as a medical case manager. Zeke Martin-Brunkhart (he, him, his) and Sofia Suarez (she, her, hers) CAPs new housing

retention peers Chris Altavilla (she/her/hers pronouns) as CAP’s new Clinical Quality Manager at Prism

Health Sadie Oliver-Grey [she/her/hers], our new Housing Services Specialist at the CAP-Davis St.

Office. Her first day will be Monday, March 16, 2020.

HIV Alliance Says Farewell: Eric Garaby and Alejandra Miranda are no longer with the agency. Replacement plan has

already been completed with the hiring of Leticia Chavez and Laura Montoya Nicole Long – In the process of hiring a Roseburg Intake Coordinator

HIV Alliance Program Updates

Currently in development is Supportive Housing Program, which will involve intensive case management and provide housing for high acuity clients.

Multnomah County HIV Clinic Welcomes: Shane Wilson (he/him) is our newest Patient Navigator. His first day is 2/18/20.
