ABOUT LEKWA CONSULTING ENGINEERS
Established in 2002, Lekwa Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd is a small, fully representative Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), civil engineering consultancy. Our dynamic approach is based on finding synergies with public and private sector stakeholders as well as our communities. We believe that through this partnership-approach we can be instrumental in unlocking skills development and job creation in South Africa, in support of government’s economic initiatives, Such as
National Development Plan – Vision 2030. Our key specialist services include the design and implementation of Municipal and other Infrastructure projects. In addition, we offer value-added project management services according to the
internationally accepted standards. Achievement of project deliverables and excellence in service delivery invariably involve balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost and quality within the context of the requirements of all project
stakeholders. Our approach combines high level technical expertise and integrated project management services to ensure excellence in terms of service delivery. Our in-house expertise is broadened through networking with specialist partners and
associates to provide conventional and turnkey project solutions to our clients. As a small-scale consultancy we offer the value-added advantage of providing a more personalised service to our clients. For the convenience of our clients, and to
enhance our service delivery outputs, we have an established office network covering Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Free State Province.

LEKWA CURRENT PROJECTS
Kibiti Ntshumaelo. Lekwa MD
Welcome to our very first newsletter. We
decided to launch this platform – Lekwa Times – as a formal vehicle through which we will be able to communicate with all our stakeholders about all the developments that are happening in our company. Lekwa Consulting Engineers is a growing company with a wide range of stakeholders, thus necessitating the need for us to collate all information we believe is relevant for you and presenting it in this format.
In this launch edition, we present highlights of our strategy. We drive our business towards certain objectives, and we have growth plans that we measure ourselves on annually. It is important that our staff continuously have sight of this. I believe that our external partners will be comforted with the knowledge that we continuously strive to deliver quality work and products because of our desire to continue to grow the business in a more structured and well planned way.
At any given period, the company is involved in multiple of projects and different parts of the country. These projects are the life blood of our business, and delivering the highest quality end product is our pride. This platform becomes important for us to showcase new and existing projects to our stakeholders – be it internal or external. In this way, we are holding ourselves to the highest standard that we are known to deliver as we will obviously will not want to communicate substandard work.
MD’s CORNER
The newsletter will also profile a number of our key staff members – both at operational and administrative level, sensitising our stakeholders to the various skills we have within the company. As a multi-discipline organisation, our stakeholders often have limited knowledge of our ability and capacity.
Lastly, I really hope that this newsletter will enable you learn more about our company, our wonderful staff and the little things we do in our community which makes a big difference in our people lives – our CSI initiatives.
Please enjoy this and communicate with us through our social media pages.
We would appreciate to hear any feel good story. Please kindly share those with us so they can be in our next edition.
Regards
MD
We have launched our New website.
