The I.S.S.F Secretary General Attending the 3rd Islamic

Summit held in Istanbul, Turkey on 14-15 April, 2106

In response to the invitation extended by his

Excellency the OIC Secretary General to the I.S.S.F.

(being one of the sub-organizations of the

(Organization of Islamic Cooperation), to attend the

13th Islamic Summit to be held under the title of (the

Role of Unity and Solidarity in Justice and Peace)

during the period 14-15 April, 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Secretary General of I.S.S.F. Mr. Faisal Abdulaziz

Al-Nassar has attended the Opening Session of the

13th Islamic Summit in Istanbul on 14 & 15 April, 2016

held under the title of the (Role of Unity and

Solidarity in Justice and Peace).

The Opening Session was attended by many Kings

and Head of Islamic States.

During the session procedures of transferring the

Presidency of the Islamic Summit from Egypt to

Turkey for 13th Islamic Summit were carried out).

The Summit conference was inaugurated by a speech delivered by the President of

12th Summit, His Excellency the President of Egypt Mr. Abdul Fattah Al- Sisi.

Afterwards, a speech was made by His Excellency the Secretary General of (OIC) Mr.

Iyad bin Amin Madani, then the President of Turkey His Excellency Mr. Rajab Tayib

Ardogan delivered his speech being the President of the 13th Islamic Summit).

Mr. Ardogan started his speech by thanking Egypt for its sincere & successful efforts

during the previous session. He has highly emphasized on the importance of

enhancing the ties of cooperation between Islamic Countries members of (OIC) and

that the Islamic Nation is currently under tough circumstances that would require

Unity, Solidarity to help fulfilling Justice and Peace.

Mr. Ardogan has also indicated that most of the oppressed, subdued and devastated

people of the world are the Muslims, and that all Muslims are looking forward to seeing

positive results as an outcome of this Summit.

The Summit was concluded on 15 April, 2016 with a Final Statement issued, then the

"Istanbul Announcement" was read to confirm the necessity of supporting the

programs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation all through and up to 2025.

The OIC Young Leaders Summit Istanbul, Turkey on 12-13 April, 2016

under the theme of “Unity in action: for peace and justice through sustainable

development.”

In response to the invitation extended by His Excellency the Ambassador Mr. Alchad

Alexendarov, the General Director of (ICYF-DC), the I.S.S.F. Secretary General Mr. faisal

Abulaziz Al-Nassar has attended the "OIC Young Leaders Summit" held in Istanbul, Turkey on

12-13 April, 2016 under title of “Unity in action: for peace and justice through sustainable

development.”

The Summit was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sport

Mr. Akif Çağatay Kılıç and the Mayor of Istanbul Dr. Kadir Topbaş and was attended by as well

as the following Ministers of Youth and Sport in some Islamic Countries:

- Mr. Azad Rahimov Minister of Youth & Sport in Azerbaijan

- Mr. Khairy Jamaluddin Minister of Youth & Sport in Malaysia

- Mr. Aieu Jammeh Minister of Youth & Sport in Gambia

- Me. Excell Moham Minister of Youth & Sport in Somalia

- Mr. Maher Bin Zhia Minister of Youth & Sport in Tunisia

Among other VIP personalities attended the Summit are:

- Mrs. Tawakkol Karman Noble peace Prize Winner

- Dr. Abdulaziz Al Tawijri Director General of (ISESSCO)

- Mr. Nassir A. Al-Nasser Rep. of UN

- Mrs. Mehla Talibna Director General of the Cultural, Social and Family Affairs

of the OIC.

The Partnership Agreement signed between

the I.S.S.F and the Events Lab Co.

With reference to the approval of HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abduaziz Al-

Saud President of I.S.S.F. to sign a Partnership Agreement, Mr. Fasisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-

Nassar has signed an "Agreement of Exclusive Marketing Partnership" with the "Events

Lab & MMC Sportz" companies.

Both companies have their offices in Dubai, UAE and they are specialized in the

Marketing business of Sport Activities and Events Managements.

The agreement was signed at the time of holding a Press Conference held on Tuesday

26 April, 2016 in Dubai at the "Emirates Towers Hotels" with the attendance of Mr.

Saeed Adulghaffar Hussain Assistant Secretary General and Chairman of the

Marketing Committee of I.S.S.F.

In the Press Conference, there were Mr. Eric Gotschalk (CEO) of MMC Sportz

Company, Mr. Sameer Tabaa (CEO) of "Events Lab Company", as well as a number

of Journalists and both Mr. Khalid B. Al Shaykh General Manager of I.S.S.F. and Mr.

Ashraf Sayed official in charge of Tech Affairs at I.S.S.F. and Mr. Lanny Kimbowa from

the Tech. Affairs Department at I.S.S.F.

Mr. Fasisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, Secretary General of I.S.S.F. spoke in the

Conference and conveyed greetings and best wishes of luck of HRH Prince Abdullah

Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud President of I.S.S.F.

Mr. Al-Nassar pointed out that "we are proud to confirm our readiness to hold the

Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku 2017 in Azerbaijan and we are also proud to see high

standards of sport facilities in Baku that are suitable to host the coming 4th Islamic

Solidarity Games in Baku especially after the big experience that Baku city has

secured by hosting the 1st European Olympic Games in 2015".

Mr Saeed Adulghaffar Hussain Assistant Secretary General and Chairman of the

Marketing Committee at I.S.S.F. has also delivered a speech and referred to the fact

"in spite of the current financial assets at the I.S.S.F. We have, relatively, achieved

some encouraging targets by organizing 4 successful Games so far.

Mr. Hussain added that "the Calendar of I.S.S.F. should have some more activities (to

be held in between the Games that are held every four years."

He also said "by having 57 active country members currently available under the

umbrella of I.S.S.F., we are looking forward to seeing any of these country members

stepping forward to host more than one completions every year.

Mr. Hussain expressed his happiness of the Agreement of Partnership signed with the

leading company specialized in promoting Sports Activity (i.e. Events lab company).

Afterwards, Mr. Sameer Tabbaa, (CEO) of "Events Lab Company" praised working with

I.S.S.F. saying that it is as a prestigious opportunity to cooperate with the I.S.S.F. being

one of the largest entities organizing sport activities in the world.

He also said" we are proud to sign this unique agreement today as a result of our keen

interest to produce highest level of proficiency together with the highly experienced

company MMC Sportz.

The 3rd meeting of the Supervision & Coordination

Committee, the Celebration Counting Down Ceremonies

of Launching Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games and the

Opening Day of the Islamic NOCs

It has been decided that the 3rd meeting of "Supervision & Coordination

Committee" will be held, with the Organizing Committee of Baku 2017 Islamic

Solidarity Games, on 11-13 May, 2017 to discuss the Final List of Sports of the

Games in Baku, 2017, the Sport Facilities hosting the Games in Baku, and to set

up the Rules and Regulations governing each sport of the Games and to

discuss the relative issues of Marketing & TV Broadcasts.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of the Islamic Solidarity Games, has

extended the necessary invitations to the NOC members of the I.S.S.F. to

attend both the (ceremony of start counting down the date of launching the

Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku and activities of the Opening Day of the

Islamic NOCs).

The Organizing Committee of the Games will provide air tickets and

accommodation for two representatives of each NOC committee.

Representatives of the NOCs will be performing a Site visit to the Sport Facilities,

and they will have the chance to have their inquiries/questions, about the

Games, answered.
