Welcome Address from ISPRES President, Sydney Coleman, MD

On behalf of the ISPRES Board of Directors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 7th Congress of the International Society of Plastic Regenerative Surgeons. Founded in 2011 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, the Society has grown to over 1,000 members worldwide.

ISPRES was founded to promote regenerative therapies for clinical application of fat grafting and adipose-derived stem cells in plastic surgery. Regenerative therapies play a key role in the future of plastic and reconstructive surgery and members of ISPRES are at the forefront. Recently, the Society has played an important role in patient safety initiatives, by collaborating with other national

and international plastic surgery societies to address concerns over gluteal augmentation complications. ISPRES has co-authored advisories to the plastic surgery community, distributed globally.

We are especially happy to collaborate with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (our parent Society) on this 7th Congress, held in conjunction with “Plastic Surgery, The Meeting.” Dr. J. Peter Rubin has assembled a world class faculty, with cutting-edge topics and lively debate, which we hope will serve to introduce a greater number of board-certified plastic surgeons to regenerative therapies in their practice, and further refine the techniques of those who have already incorporated these techniques into their practices.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Congress, and while here, urge you to become a member of ISPRES. Please stop by our registration desk or booth #697 to learn more about the International Society of Plastic Regenerative Surgeons.

Warm regards,

Sydney Coleman, MDPresident, ISPRES

Welcome Address from Program Chair, J. Peter Rubin, MD

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 7th Congress of the International Society of Plastic Regenerative Surgeons, held in conjunction with “Plastic Surgery, The Meeting.” The collaboration of ISPRES with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons presents a unique opportunity to gather a global community of forward-looking surgeons seeking to apply principles of regenerative therapies to our practices for the benefit of our patients.

Within the fascinating specialty of regenerative plastic surgery, innovation is key, and we present a diverse program filled with the history, complications, and advances of regenerative plastic surgery. We are very grateful to our speakers for sharing their expertise. As a Society, ISPRES is committed to advancing the field of regenerative plastic surgery responsibly and with the safety of our patients as the highest priority.

I look forward to this gathering of renowned surgeons from around the world to share ideas, strengthen our community, and enjoy the camaraderie.
