Roanoke Rapids City Schools
SPARK Training
Staff from Roanoke Rapids City Schools began receiving SPARK training in the
2009-10 school year with the KBR Grant. Roanoke Rapids City Schools has 3
active K-8 public schools in 2010-2011. Of these 3 schools, 2 schools (or 67%)
have received SPARK training. At these schools, a total of 2 PE teachers and 0
coordinators have been trained in SPARK. Table 1 shows the Roanoke Rapids
City Schools K-8 schools that have received SPARKTM training and the number of
staff trained. FitnessGramTM Response Rates are also given for each of the K-8
schools.
