Ashe County
SPARK Training
Staff from Ashe County began receiving SPARK training in the 2008-09 school
year with the KBR Grant. Ashe County has 4 active K-8 public schools in 2010-
2011. Of these 4 schools, 4 schools (or 100%) have received SPARK training.
At these schools, a total of 6 PE teachers and 0 coordinators have been trained
in SPARK. Table 1 shows the Ashe County K-8 schools that have received
SPARKTM training and the number of staff trained. FitnessGramTM Response
Rates are also given for each of the K-8 schools.
