Drawn into the environment movement esp Save Silent Valley campaign by social activist father and Botany professor Mother. Specialised in ocean ecology and ecological education based on coral reef islands of Lakshadweep. Authored ecological education modules for Lakshadweep, Wetlands of Vembanad lake in association with prominent national level envt research groups like Kalpavriksh and ATREE. Authored No Echoes Koodankulam on the environmental perspectives of community about nuclear energy. Authored children's literature book on Lakshadweep published by Childrens Literature Institute. Started Tree Walk in 2012 in memory of mother Dr. C. Thankam. Presently coordinating a project of MBS Youth Choir Healing touch of Music.
