ISCAPisanationalreferenceasfarasbusinesssciencesareconcerned,namelythroughthecoursesofManagerialSimulationwhich,besidesexemptingstudentsfromtheinternshiprequiredtoaccesstheChamberofCharteredAccountants,aimstoprovideademanding,complex,uni‐versalandtechnologicallyadvancedbusinessenviron‐ment.ItwasintroducedintheAccountingandAdmin‐istrationDegreeofISCAPinFebruary2003,asamanda‐torysubjectwithatotalof180hoursperyear(16ECTS–EuropeanCreditTransferSystem).Thismodelisbasedonthefollowingconceptualbasis:competences‐orientedlearning,pedagogicalstrategybasedonthesimulationofthebusinessenvironment,organisationofsystemicbasesandcontinuousandwidespreadingassessment.
Apartfromthis,ISCAPisequippedwithmodernandtechnologicallyadvancedMultimediaandMarketingCen‐tres:
CDI‐CML(CentrefortheDevelopmentandtheResearchinCommunication,MultimediaandLanguage)isspeciallyorientedforthedevelopmentoftheoreticalandexperi‐mentalresearchrelevanttoadvancedtraininginprofes‐sionalareasinwhichCommunication,MultimediaandLanguagesassumeacentralrole.Comprising4fully‐equippedmultimedialabsand2interpretinglabs,CMLaimstoprovidestudentswithastate‐of‐the‐artenviron‐mentandthelatesttechnology,setuptodeveloptheskillsdemandedbythelabourmarket.Also,itoffersavastrangeoflinguisticandcommunicationservices,in‐volvinglecturers,studentsandalumni.
ISCAPalsohas2fully‐equippedDigitalMarketinglabs,whichencompassthepracticeofpromotingproductsorservicesviatheuseofelectronicdistributionchannelsinordertoswiftlyandrelevantlyreachitsconsumersinacustomisedandef icientway,resortingtospeci ichard‐ware,softwareandhigh‐endtechnologiesthatenablethedigitalprocessingofinformation.TheresourcesprovidestudentswiththenecessaryskillswithintheDigitalMar‐ketingareaofexpertise.AreassuchasWebPublishingandPrintPublishingareatthecoreoftheDigitalMarket‐ingCentrefocus,andinnowaydoesitneglectthetrain‐ingofstudentsinDesignManagementandtheorganisa‐tionofsoftwareforspeci icpurposes.
TheUnitforInnovationinEducation(PAOL)beganitsactivitiesin2003inordertoofferpedagogicalandtech‐nicalsupporttoallteachersandstudentsatISCAPprovidingasupporttotheimplementationofcomputermediatededucation.Thisprojectaimstoenablethede‐velopmentofcomplementaryinitiativestoassistin‐personlearning.In2003,theprojectwaslaunchedwithWebCTplatform,howeverin2005anopensourceplat‐form(Moodle)waschosentoworkwithinsteadandithasbeeninuseeversince.
PAOLemergesasawayofsupportingon‐sitelearning,allowingstudentstomoreeasilyaccesstheirstudymate‐rials,andpromotingcommunicationbetweenstudentsandteachers.Amongotherguidelines,itsmissionisac‐complishedviatheimplementationofworkshopsforteacherstolearnhowtouseMoodle,thecreationofprac‐ticalhandbooks,theorganizationandspreadofe‐learningeventsandthetechnicalmanagementofaca‐demicmaterialanditsonlinedisplay.
PAOLhasalsobeeninvolvedinseveralnationalprojectsandcollaboratedwithinternationalprojectswithinthee‐learningareaofexpertise,thushavingalargenumberofpublicationsinthe ield.

Foundedin2007,ISCAP’sCentreforInterculturalStudies(CEI)developsappliedandfundamentalresearchandco‐operateswithothernationalandinternationalinstitutionsinscienti ic,technicalandculturalprogrammes.Itcomprehendsthewholeinterculturalandinterdisciplinary ieldcreatedbytheexperienceofteachersandresearchers,aswellascontactsandopportunitiesforculturalinterchange,andbyscienti icandeditorialprojects.CEIisamemberofseveralinternationalnetworks,collaborateswithnumerousHEIsanditsteamiscomposednotonlyoflecturersandstudentsfromISCAP,butalsooffellowresearchersfromothernationalandinternationalinstitutions,andhasthesupportofarenownedinternationalAdvisoryBoard.
OvertheyearsISCAPhasbeentryingtoincreaseitsinternationalexperienceandhasbeenapartnerinseveralinternationalnetworks,suchasAFECA,SPACE,EdiNebandinSOCRATES/LifelongLearningProgramme,namelyinERASMUS,MINERVA,GRUNDTVIG,COMENIUSandinLEONARDO.Nowadays,ISCAPisinvolvedinseveralEuropeanprojectsundertheLLLProgramme,bothaspartnerandcoordinator.
ItsInternationalOf iceishighlykeenontheprocessofinternationalisationandwillingtoincreasethenumberofexchangeprogrammes(forstudents,aswellasforteachersandotherstaff)anddevelopinterculturalexpe‐riencesamongitscommunities,beingresponsibleforthehighestrateofstudents’mobilityinPortugal.ISCAPistheschoolofIPPwiththehighestnumberofinternationalstudentsandisanexampleandreferenceforalltheotherschools.
Asof2011,ISCAPisgettingmoreandmoreinvolvedwithVoluntaryandYouthprogrammesinordertoincreaseitssocialresponsibilitywithinthesociety.TheprojectIPPSocialintendstoassureequalopportunitiesandtheso‐cialintegrationofallstudents,aimingatnewsocialre‐sponsesandattheadaptationofindividualneeds.
In2012ISCAPcreatedtheInternshipandEmployabilityService (GEE) and the ISCAP Alumni Network aimed atfacilitating students and alumni transition‐to‐work. Thealumninetworkactivelyassist studentsbyprovidinganadvicenetworkandenhancingrelationswithemployers.

PAOLтакжепринялучастиевнесколькихнациональныхпроектахисотрудничалврамкемеждународныхпроектоввобластиэлектронногообучения,имея,такимобразом,большоечислопубликациивэтоисфере.
Основанныи в 2007 году, Центр МежкультурныхИсследовании (CEI) разрабатывает прикладные ифундаментальные исследования, и сотрудничает сдругими национальными и международнымиинститутами, в научных, научно‐технических икультурных программах. Он развивает своюдеятельность на фоне межкультурного имеждисциплинарного опыта преподавателеи иисследователеи, в результате культурного обмена.
Центр развивает также разные научные ииздательские проекты. CEI является членомнескольких международных сетеи, сотрудничает сомногимиВУЗамииегокомандасостоитнетолькоизстудентов и преподавателеи из ISCAP, но иисследователеи из других национальных имеждународных организации, и имеет поддержкуизвестного международного консультативногоСовета.
За все эти годы ISCAP старается увеличить своимеждународныи опыт. Он является партнером внесколько международных сетеи, таких как AFECA,SPACE, EdiNeb и в SOCRATES/НепрерывноиПрограмме Обучения, а именно в ERASMUS,МИНЕРВА,GRUNDTVIG,КОМЕНСКОГОивЛЕОНАРДО.В настоящее время, ISCAP участвует в рядеевропеиских проектов в рамках LLL Программ, какпартнер и как координатор. Его МеждународноеБюро краине заинтересовано в процессеинтернационализации и готово увеличить числообменных программ (для студентов, а также дляпреподавателеи и сотрудников) и развивать ихмежкультурныи опыт. Бюро ответственное завысокии уровень мобильности студентов вПортугалии. ISCAP – это институт IPP с самымвысоким числом международных студентов, иявляетсяпримеромиориентиромдлядругихВУЗов.
Начиная с 2011 года, ISCAP стал все более и болееактивноучаствоватьвДобровольныхиМолодежныхпрограммах, с целью повышения его социальноиответственности в обществе. Проект «СоциальныиIPP» намерен дать всем студентам равныевозможности в социальнои интеграции, с цельюнаити новые социальные ответы, которые дали бывозможность адаптироваться к индивидуальнымпотребностям.
В 2012 году, ISCAP создал Службу Стажировок иТрудоустроиства (GEE) и Сеть Выпускников дляоблегчения трудоустроиства студентов ивыпускников. Сеть выпускников активно помогаетстудентам, предоставляя сеть консультации изнакомствасработодателями.

DESIGNBUSINESSSIMULATION
The practice of teaching accounting andmanagementinabusinesssimulationenvironmentwas introduced in early 2003, with manifestsuccess in ISCAP ‐ School of Accounting andAdministrationofPorto,inthehopeofovercomingthe chronic gaps regarding those matters ofnational education well evidenced in thewidespreaddif icultyofadaptingtothecontextofstudentswhentheyenterbusinesslifeinthelabormarket.
It was within this line of concerns that wasconceived the introduction, in the syllabus of thecourse in accounting and administration, a newdiscipline ‐ called Project Enterprise Simulation ‐which has been working as a lab group work, inwhich Students are guided in the conduct ofaccounting processes, and bureaucraticmanagement situations and phenomena ofrepresentationofreallifecompanies.
Fromgroupsofthreestudents,virtualenterprisesare formed,eachone integratedbetween the fourclassesofmostcurrentcommercialactivities,withan average size corresponding to a staff of 35employees,eachbeingimposedgoodsandservicestransactions,classi iedinaelectronicformcatalog,being assigned to trainees the performance of alltasks involved in setting up companies andmanagingthedevelopmentoftheiractivity.
Theparts composing the simulation environmentarestudents(individualentitiessubjecttotrainingand assessment), companies they create (with abusiness plan and objectives), the State, theBanking and other public institutions (SocialSecurity,IRS,etc...)asalsoprivateinstitutions(eg,businessassociationsandtradeunions)andotheroutside irms(domesticandforeign),organizedinamarket.
Students activities (with the status of polyvalentmanagers and employees of their companiesinternally decided) and the economic units theymanage, are processed in an environment ofstronginteractionwiththeothercompanies,thosebeing the ones created by other student groups(about 300), and even those that compose the
remaining parts of market and businessenvironment (banks, insurers, consumers, foreigncompanies, public and private institutions, etc..),whilsttheselatteronesaremanagedbythesubjectteacheroritscoordinator.
In this way, a dynamic model of interdependentactivities is created, continuously generating factsand situations that affect the studentsbusinesses,whichmustreacttothemwhilecausingachainofactions thatmake sensewithin the Business Planthatisimposedoneachgroup.
Fromalltheinteractivitybetweenthecompanies,alot of information will be generated, thatdemandingacomplexmanagement,markedbytheobligation of meeting deadlines and objectives inan environment of work pressure near theauthenticrealityofbusinesslife,duetosomeoftheinformation being purposefully provided withlacksand/orinconsistenciesinordertogeneratedisturbance and cause internal discussion,stimulating the need to search for the mostappropriate solution, using the most convenientmeans: internet (available at all stations ),manuals,etc...
The workshops are conditioned by speci icguidelines, through which they introduce thenecessary impetus to make the market work(orders,deliveries,recruitment,dismissal,charges,taxes, etc...) and determine the actions to beundertakenduringthesession.

МОДЕЛИРОВАНИЯСИСТЕМУПРАВЛЕНИЯ
Практика обучения бухгалтерского дела иуправления на основе моделирования систетуправления была введена с большим успехом вИнститут Бухгалтерского Дела и Управления г.Порту(ISCAP)вначале2013года.Егоцельбылавтом,чтобыпреодолетьхроническиипроблемывотношении некоторых областях народногообразования, известных трудностью студентовадаптироватьсякбизнес‐сплетениюпривходенарыноктруда.
Поэтому, связи с этим было задумано введениенового предмета в учебную программу курса вобласти бухгалтерского дела и управления:моделирование систем управления. С моментаего введения, эти занятия проводятся влабораторнои среде, в которои студентыориентированы на выполнение бухгалтерских,бюрократических и ситуационных процессовуправления, а также от них требуетсяпредусматривать случаи реальнои жизникомпании.
Создаются виртуальные предприятия из групптрех студентов, каждое из них включено в одиниз четырех классов наиболее текущеикоммерческои деятельности, с персоналом до 35человек.Каждоедолжнозаниматьсяоперациямис товарами и услугами, которые интегрируюткаталог электронного вида. Обучающиесяобязаны выполнять все задачи, связанные ссозданием предприятия и с управлениемразвивающихсядеятельностях.
Среда моделирования состоится из студентов(физические лица, подлежащие к подготовки иоценки) из компании, которые они создают (сбизнес‐планом и целями), из государства ибанковского сектора и других государственныхучреждении (например, социальное обеспечение,информационно‐поисковая система, и т.д.), атакжеизчастныхучреждении(например,бизнес‐ассоциацииипрофсоюзы)идругихпохожихфирм(отечественные и зарубежные), организованныеводномрынке.
Деятельность студентов (либо руководить, либобыть сотрудником их компании согласнопредварительным внутренним решением) иэкономических единиц, которыми ониуправляют, состоит в условиях сильноговзаимодеиствия с другими компаниями,созданными другими студенческими группами(около 300), и с теми, которые составляютостальные сегменты рынка и бизнес‐среды(банки, страховые компании, потребители,иностранные компании, государственные ичастные учреждения и т.д.). Эти сегментыуправляются преподавателем предмета или егокоординатором.
Таким образом, создается динамическая модельвзаимозависимых видов деятельности, которыепостоянно генерируют факты и ситуации,которые влияют на бизнес студентов, которыедолжны реагировать на них, вызывая цепьдеиствии,которыеимеютсмыслврамкахБизнес‐Плана,установленногодлякаждоигруппы.
