. Director’s Message Dear Brothers & Sisters Praise the Lord. Holy Father Francis has written a beautiful book for viz “Amorous Latitia” under nine Chapter with 188 sub titles. It is very inspiring. He has written for everyone, it speaks about Bishop’s, Priests, Deacons, Consecrated Person, Christian Married couples and all the lay faithful on Love in the Family. How important our life is. The joy of love in our family is amazing. We all received many graces from God. We need to use God given Graces for God’s glory and for the well being of the humanity. Fr. Ani Xavier O.F.M. Cap., Spiritual Director, NCST - UAE. Volume 1 September Issue 2 2018 Chairman’s Message Pilgrim on Earth A tourist from America visited the famous Polish rabbi, Hafetz Chaim. He was astonished to see that the rabbi’s home was only a simple room filled with books. The only furniture was a table and a bench. “Rabbi, where is your furniture?” asked the tourist. “Where is yours?” replied Hafetz. “Mine? But I’m only a visitor here. I’m only passing through.” “So, am I,” said the Rabbi. This very night you will have to give up your life; then who will get all these things you have kept for yourself?” (Luke 12:20). Recent high flood in Kerala, southern state of India shattered dreams of many people. We still see the crying of people who lost everything they earned during their life. The situation is worse, and people are helter skelter for help. During this time, Holy Spirit asked me, if they have really lost anything - the property... etc did it really belong to them.. Did they bring anything along when they came into this world? Jolly George Chairman, NCST ISAO Chairman’s Message I was extremely happy to receive the first issue of the newsletter published by the National Service Team of the UAE. I wish to congratulate the Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr Ani Xavier and the Chairman, Jolly George for this new initiative. I found the contents extremely informative. A channel of communication like this is a powerful link among the members of the Renewal and helps in building strong bonds of fellowship. Please keep it up. I wish the Renewal in UAE God’s blessings. I am very happy that UAE has accepted to host the 4th ISAO Conference. As ISAO is responsible for strengthening fellowship within the Renewal in the Asia-Oceania Region, ISAO’s first major initiative was organizing of the 1st ISAO Conference in North Jakarta from 14 to 18 September, 2008 attended by 525 leaders from 21 countries. The 2nd Conference was hosted by the Sabah Archdiocesan Service Team in Kota Kinnabalu, East Malaysia from 24 to 27 November, 2011 in which 1050 members from 19 countries participated. The 3rd ISAO Conference was held in Bahrain from 23 to 25 September, 2015 attended by 1000 participants from 16 countries. I believe that Ras Al Kaima is an ideal location for holding the Conference. The CCR in your country is well-knit and vibrant and you would play a perfect host to the participants from the ISAO nations. Looking at the progress already made, I am confident that it would turn out to be the best attended and best organized ISAO event so far. The whole of Asia-Oceania nations are looking forward and praying for the Conference. All the process of reshaping the nature,History and destiny of mankind had been sorrowful ,including the salvific mission of Christ and the Dolours of blessed Virgin Mary at the foot of the cross.
However, what an overwhelming joy was brought forth by the resurrection of Christ and Assumption of blessed Mother.
The nature,world and individuals will pass through the same gate and path as the renewal progresses from learning to experiencing,understanding to witnessing,praying to fulfilling,change over from mortality to immortality.
Waters and pestilent waters always played an important role at
creation,re-shaping,revamping the human kind and renewing and saving the mankind.
Water creates,water destroys,water cleanses and water saves ,provided you float or wade through the waters .
Prophet Jonah got a live transport in water,Noah and family floated in the ark.
Floods,calamities and pestilence require us to look up to the one ,the one who had been pierced by our transgressions and from whose side, water of salvation and blood of redemption gushed forth.
It is time to fulfil Zachariah 12:10 and Pray fervently contemplating the infinite ,unfathomable ocean of mercy that flowed out from the heart of Jesus,immerse ourselves and the world in it and courageously walk through every pestilence and calamity
