Hello, my name is Isabella Meganheimer. Im a 27-year-

old woman who lived in a house with a 23-year-oldwoman named Joan, who just graduated from college,

    and a 25-year-old sister named Cathy. I also have a 24-

year-old brother named Mac, who lived in his own

house. But sometimes he hangs out with us at nights and

at times when were hanging out.

In an ordinary day, the sun is shining in my window. Iwas sleeping my bed with my blue blanket. I was wearing

my underwear when I was sleeping. I slowly wake up. Im

got off my bed and walked to my closet. I open the closet

and saw a wardrobe of what to wear for the day. I picked

up a pair of a blue button t-shirt and blue tight jeans. I

also picked my brown comfy shoes. As I put them on over my underwear, I suddenly

smell something coming out of the kitchen. Usually I

come out there first and cooks for me and my sisters. But

this time, since I smell something cooking out of the

kitchen, I wonder if someone has come to our house.

Maybe my big brother Mac, but I dont know.

I finished dressed, get out of my room, and head

downstairs to find out. I head to the kitchen and saw

Joan, in her pajamas, cooking breakfast. She then looked

    at me.

    Oh hello, she said.

I suddenly feel quite akward when she said that.

Surpirse, she nerviously asked as she shrug her

    shoulders.

I dont know what Joan got intogetting up early

andcooking breakfast when Im usually do at this time

of the morning. I guess Joan is so excited that shes going

to work with me at the Doctors Community Hospital; its

a hospital near a few blocks away from house.

I work as a nurse in a nearby hospital. I got that jobjust months after I graduated college at the age of 22.

Since that, Joan was interesting in nursing. She wants to

become a doctor too. And she was also interesting in

working at the same hospital that I work.

Joan, I said, slowly walkinginto the kitchen. What

are you doing?Im cooking breakfast, she said.

I looked at the pans that were on the stove. I saw

that she was making two pleats of an amulet and two

slices of toasted bread already cooked by her. I turned

around to saw another round of two slices bread that

were already on the toaster. I looked back at the plates.

Which one is mine? I asked.

Here, she grab one and gave it to me.

Thank you, I said. I looked at her again. And which

is one for yours? I asked.

She comes back to the stove and put oil on the

empty frying pan. Mines coming up right now, she

    said.

I slightly nodded at her work. Okay, I said. I then

headed over at the living table.

As sat down and started taking a bite of my

breakfast, my other sister, Cathy, shows up after heading

    downstairs.

Good mor-, Cathy stopped walking and looked at

me eating breakfast. That scene made her a shock in theface as she raise her eyebrows and open her mouth

wide. Before she could ask me why arent I cooking

breakfast, Cathy suddenly turns around to see the reason

why: Her sister Joan is cooking for us. She reached

toward the kitchen and saw the other plate of an amulet

and toasted bread. Is that one mine or yours? Cathy asked Joan, whos

already cooking a third plate. This time is Joans.

Its yours, Joan said as she heads for the toaster.

Mines already cooking, she added. She push the

button, the bread goes down into the toaster.

Cathy takes the plate. Thank you, she said as she

    exits out of the restaurant.

    Youre welcome, Joan said.

Cathy was surprised that her little sister was cooking

breakfast instead of me. She headed down to the living

    table when she join me.

Wow, she said to me. Is she really cooking

    breakfast?

Yeah, I answered. I didnt know Joan is cooking

breakfast. Maybe she got up because todays her big day

    at the hospital.

You mean her first day, she corrected me.

I know. Then Joans toasted bread pop up from the toaster.

She turned around and walked to take her toasted bread

out of the toaster and put them on a plate. She then

comes back to the stove where her amulet has already

been cooked. She put the amulet in her plate with her

toasted bread. She grab the plate and takes it to theliving table

My 24-year-old brother Mac works in his office at the

Silver Spring breue of the Washington Post. Hes already

working on a story, when his co-worker, an African-

American man named Devon E.K. who stopped to see

    hows my brother doing.

Hello there, Devon said, entering the office.

Well hello there Devon, Mac said.

    6/36

After they shake hands, Devon picks up a chair and

sits beside his desk in front of him.

So, he said. Hows the paperwork going?

My paperwork is doing fine, Mac is still typing a

    story on his computer.

Its a story hes working on recently. Its about a

woman who didnt flie her paperwork because the

energy company gave her too much money too pay. She

asked the Washington Post to investigate. And the

Washington Post asked my brother Mac to do the reportas well as the interview.

Devon comes in into my brothers office to see how

things are doing before the final deadline.

Im just finishing on an investigating story, Mac

continued. The deadline for it is today.

Well then good enough, Devon said, looking at thewindow. The window looked slightly dirty, although it

may have been the sun from outside making the window

    look dusty.

Mac finishing typed. There, he said.

    Devon looked at him.

All done, Mac continued. He looked at Devon. Do

you contact the power company yet? he asked.

Yep I contacted, Devon said as he sits up and

change his position to look at him straight.

    What did they say?

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    7/36

Mac took a deep breath. He looked at the computer.

Well guess I have to put that in, he added as he typed

additional information to the article: The power

company has now comment. He lean back in his chair.

Devon slightly got up and take a peak at the article.

He looked at him, whos really disappointed. He sits back

    down. Unhappy huh, He asked.

Mac looked at him. Yeah, he said as he sits up. I

wish the power company should get a better response. He looked at him and the papers back and forth. But as

usually, when companies like these when they were

involved in investigations dont love to comment or

    return any calls.

Devon nodded as he agreed with him.

Then suddenly another co-worker takes a head inthe officer.

    Hey..um..Mac, she said.

    Yep.

Theres a phone call in line five.

    Okay thank you.

The co-worker exits her head out of the office.

Devon immediately got up from his seat and headed

out for the door. Alright Devon, he said. See ya later,

He then exits out of the office.

Mac picks up the telephone and touch line five. He

put the phone on his right ear.

That phone call was me. I called him to see if hes

ready to eat lunch with me. He hangs out with me forlunch most of the time. But sometimes, whenever

theres an incoming story unfolding or a story to finish

near an early deadline, hes unavailable for the period.

    Hello, Mac answered the phone.

Hey Mac are you busy? I asked.

Nope, he said as he looked at the window whileleaning back again. I just finished the story and Im

printing it out now. Youre asking to have lunch with

    me?

Yes, I said. I just got off from the doctors office. I

was standing in the sidewalk behind the hospital with my

smartphone in my right ear. Are you ready to come? Iasked him.

He jumped out of his chair. Yeah, he said. He took

out a pen and writes a note on his notepad that was in

    his desk.

Okay, I start heading out for my car which was

packed in the hospital entrance office. Ill be there as

soon as possible. Just stand in front of the building.

He puts back the pan in the pen cup and looked at

the side window. Okay Ill be there, he said.

    Okay.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    9/36

We hang up the phone. I open the car door and get

inside the vehicle. Me and my sister Joan drove that

vehicle when we work at the same hospital. Since that, I

thought she would be worry about me. I thought shewould have no vehicle. I mean she has her car, but she

decided to ride with me instead because it was her first

day. I talk to Joan in her office about the situation. Once

my sister understand the situation with my brother, she

didnt mind. She didnt mind that I would leave her

alone. At least she have her lunch so she can eat in thelunch area. Though, she might be worried that I still be

driving too long, because there might have a growing

number of patients and the boss in the hospital doesnt

have time for doctors to fool around.

Meanwhile, my brother Mac, who already have a

suit on, is ready to have his investigation story to hisboss, Mr. Alec Sands, who is the editor-in-chief of the

Washington Post. Mr. Sands wants my brothers story to

be published before the midnight deadline. Thats when

newspapers will began printing through their factories

and published through a series of newsstands. Mac and

Mr. Sands hoped that this story will get the attention of

the power company, who refused to respond.

Oh hey, Mr. Sands said as Mac comes in into his

office. You finish up the power company story.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    10/36

Yes sir, Mac gives the paper that filled with words

    to him.

Mr. Sands takes a look at the paper for a brief

second. He slight nodded as he looked back at him.

Alright Ill look at it, he said. Youre off at a lunch

    break?

    Yeah.

    Alright Ill let you go.

Thanks, Mac exits out of the office, free to go.

Mr. Sands opens the door and peeks his head. HeyMac, he said.

    Yeah, Mac turn around.

Dont stay too long.We have another story to fill.

    Okay.

Mr. Sands loves Mac to go to lunch at his spare time,

especially with me and my sisters, but he doesnt wantmy brother to spend too much time on lunch, because of

the competition in the newspaper business. He already

had a story for him: its about a customer who rectently

brought a truck that was promoted as good as new, but

instead it was a vehicle that was messed up. The

customer was so angry that he wants a refund

immediately from the car dealer, but the car dealer

    refused.

Mr. Sands wants my brother Mac to be in this

investigation immediately after lunch. That way Mac will

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    11/36

be in contact with the customer, since he was available

before his favorite show comes on at 4. The customer

doesnt have a VCR or a DVR recorder to record.

Minutes later, Mac was standing in front of thebuilding like I told him.

I was driving on Elligton Street, where he was at. I

almost made it. As I parked beside the entrance of the

building, my brother hopped in into my vehicle.

    Hey Mac, I said.

Hey sis, he said as he closes the left door.Immediately after that, I drove off again. I explain to

him what my day has been so far, and he explain to me

about the investigation story that he just send to the

editor. I guess we have to talk into more of our personal

stuff when we head down the to Silver Spring Restaurant

    down the corner.

As we enter the shopping center at Silver Spring, I

drove to the parking lot to where the Silver Spring

Restaurant is. We parked in an empty space in front of

the bushes. And as soon as that we get out of the viechle.

We have been into fast food restaurants before like

McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, among other things.

But this is the first time since my mothers birthday that

we have ever been into a causal restaurant. A place

where you can sit down in a table, if its available, looking

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    12/36

down at the menu, order what you want, and then wait

for your food to arrive. Its much different from a fast

food one where you had to order in line and get in no

time.We are now entering the Silver Spring Restuarnet. As

we enter, the entrance was kindadark. It has a black

bench on the left to sit on and a glass door on the right if

theres a table available. Yes the entrance has aglass

door to lighten it, but I think that he doesnt like the

darkness. Before I turned around to looked at him, wewalking toward the male waiter, whos writing some stuff

on his notpad in pen. He looked as he sees us walking.

Hello, the male waiter greets with a smile.

Welcome to the Silver Spring Restaruant. Do you have a

    reservation here?

Yes we do, Mac said.We set a reservation here for two of us, I said as I

point fingers at my brother and myself. At 12:00pm.

Yes, its almost noon. We reached at this area about a

few minutes before our reservation. Hopefully, this lunch

will take us an hour, not more than an hour.

Let me see if you guys have a reservation, the male

waiter said as he checks on his computer while standing.

As he find it, he looked up at us. Yes, he said. Twelve

    oclock.

Twelve o clock, I repeated as I made it clear.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    13/36

Arlight, the male waiter takes two copies of the

restaurant menu for us. Come with me, he said in a

calm maner as we enter dinner area. He takes us a few

steps forward to the table that was at the end of thepathway. It was behind the windows aside and the back.

Here your table, he said as he put the two menus

on each side of the table. He bows his hand to us as he

let us sit on the table. Enjoy, he said.

    Thanks, my brother Mac said.

Thanks, I said.Youre welcome, the male waiter walks off.

We take a look at the menu. Usually I order a meal

of roasted chicken with macaroni and photao. But this

time Im ordering something different. I might to check in

the burger section. I might have to order a roasted rib

sandwich meal. Im not sure of what hes ordering, butIm pretty sure hes ordering a meal of baked chicken

    with mash photatos.

What are your ordering Isbella? my brother Mac

    asked, without looking.

I know I have to choose that roasted rib sandwhich

meal or else Ill be wasting time and losing the patience

for my paientis as they will get pissed as I didnt show up

on time back at the doctors office. And I know that my

brother wont be wasting his time back at his office at

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    14/36

the newspaper bureau. He has a story to cover. I think he

    already made an order.

My brother looked up Mac. Still looking? he asked

me.I looked up. Before I said anything, another male

waiter shows up. But as I looked at him, his

    facesomehow lookedgeogrous.

Hello, the male waiter said as he takes out a pen

and notepad to write. He looked at both of us. Do you

guys order anything yet? he asked.Ah yes, Mac said as he put the menu down. I

want a meal of crispy chicken with vegetables and some

    gravy.

Okay, the male waiter nodded as he writes the

order down. He then looked at me. And what did you

order?I didnt ask immediately. Yes I have an order. But his

gorgeous face made me shy to say it. He also has good-

    looking hair.

You want me to take more time, the male waiter

    asking me an offer.

No, I interrupt. I shook my head and took a deep

breath letting myself calm down and looked back at him

and act like normal. Im sorry, I added.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    15/36

No thats okay, he said with a smile and a look

back at his notepad. He then looked back at me. Do you

    made an order?

Yes I want to try the roasted rib sandwich meal.

    With mash photates?

    Yes.

The male writer writes my order down on his

notepad. Okay, he said as he looked back at my

brother. One crispy chicken meal with mash phatos and

gravy, he said.Yes, my brother Mac said.

Then the male waiter looked back at me. And one

roasted rib sandwhich with mash potatoes, he said to

    me, making sure thats right.

Thats correct, I said with a smile.

Alright, the male waiter looks back at his notepad.Your food should be up in about an half-hour, okay.

The male waiter was about to walk off.

    Hey, I shouted.

He turns around and walked backed. Yes do you

    need anything else?

No I, I looked at him as I was trying to come up

with a statement. I want to know if hes already have a

girlfriend. I have been in relationships before, none of

them move into the marriage stage. My first ex-

boyfriend, named Sam Eric, was first met in college.

Were going really welluntil I found out by my best

friend Arianna that he has been cheating on me. As I

result I kicked him out like a foul. I engaged with another

relationship with Adam Lackie, since I was twenty-one.

Hes a nice guy. The reason why we broke-up because

the relationship isnt working. I have never had a real

boyfriend for years, and thismale waiter, I believe, is

the right one. The right one. Maybe, but I believe that

this guymay be the right one.

Need anything, the male waiter asked.I looked at him as if I was dreaming about

something. Um, I began to talk. Whats your name?

    I asked.

Oh well, he got off guard when I askedthat

question. My name is Felix, he said to me.

    Felix?Yeah.

    Well nice to meet you.

He looked at the pathway and me back and forth as

he has a job to do: passing out our orders. Um I gotta

    go, he said to me.

    Okay,

Let me get you guys your orders okay, he said it

with a smile on his face to the both of us. He then walks

    off.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    17/36

Mac looked at me as if he thinks I found another

perfect match. My brother already has a girlfriend and he

doesnt want to ruin it for her. Hell try to make the best

relationship ever. I dont think hes a cheater like my

other ex-boyfriend and my brother doesnt want to be

    that either.

I took a deep breath after Felix left. I know his good-

looking hair and dazing eyes capture me into another a

relationship. This time, a potentatially good relationship.

I think I might have that one this time.

After we ate, me and my brother Mac went back to our

jobs. Mac is already doing an interview with the

customer who had a feud with the car dealer. I went

back to work in the Doctors Community Hospital. Since

Joan doesnt have any patients right now,I went into mysister Joans office to explain what happened at the

restaurant. I told her everything about my new

boyfriend, Felix Sandres and she was very interested.

After Felix serves up the orders to me and Mac, I ask

him information about himself. Felix Sandres is a 29-year-

old man. He is single. He had girlfriends before, but he

never got serious about marriage. He lived in an

apartment alone with the stuff belong to the

management who gives him the rent. He graduated from

Western College with a Bachelors Degree in

management. He works at the Silver Spring Restaurant as

a server for five years. He got paid much money than any

other co-workers because he was working hard. He saw

me as another potential girlfriend. I ask him the contactinformation so that we can communicate with each

other. I even ask him for a date, to his surprise, and in

response, to my surprise, he said yes.

I walk down the hall in the Hospital hall with my

sister Joan. We were talking about Felix. She thinks Im

now in another relationship, which Im right now.So you have a date with Felix? Joan asked me.

    Yes, I said.

When you gonna start dating with him?

    On Saturday.

Saturday? she blocked me from walking.

Saturday is the usually day when we all hangout withplaces. Me, Joan, my sister Cathy, and sometimes my

brother Mac, hangout in my van. We get to watch

movies in a movie theater. My favorite one is the

    comedy one.

Because I set a date with my new boyfriend on that

day, I might need to adjust the schedule. We have tickets

for the concert on Sunday, so that might be okay.

Joan was kinda shocked about the fact that Im

dating on a day that we usually hangout, although she

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    19/36

might get the idea of hanging out with a date over the

    weekend.

Are you crazy? she asked me.

No Im not crazy. She put her right at her hip with a questionable look

    on her face.

Okay maybe Im, I said. But Joan Im not gonna

mess it up and he better not gonna mess it up either.

Felix is a sweatheart. And I should be too.

I walk off as she watched me in surprise. She thenmoved to

Its Saturday. The sun is shining. Its day that people can

enjoy their weekend, except for those who had to go to

work such as the employees at the grocery store, the

restaurant, shopping malls, among other things, exceptfor my new boyfriend Felix, who I schedule him today.

This morning, I woke in bed, still in the same pajamas

from this week. Im gonna put them in the washing

machine tonight after the date. I got up from the bed and

take off my pajamas, revealing my underwear. I then put

on some regular casual clothes and I looked at the glass

window thats been below my draw. The weather

outside is shining. It was the perfect day for a date. A

perfect day to be hanging out a day. But I looked down at

myself, as its also a day for my sisters to be hanging out

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    20/36

watching a movie. Its a romantic movie. Its called

Romance on a Car. Even my brother Mac was

interested in the movie. He obviously loves romantic

movies, not because he has a girlfriendwhos name is

Jennythat loves them. Its because of thefact that he

wasnt emotionally physicallike the ones in the

superhero movies, a genre thats been usually attracting

attention from a lot of boys. I come to believe already

that Mac is not one of them.

It sucks to have a date on a Saturday with my newboyfriend Felix the same day me and my siblings usually

hangout together (well actually, my brother Mac,

sometimes hangout with his girlfriend or his regular

friends). But I had to schedule my date on that day

because Felix was only available on Saturdays. He wasnt

available on the rest of the week because he goes towork on Sundays through Fridays. Maybe, if Felix had a

day off from the Silver Spring Restaurant where he work,

or if theres a holiday, than I can have a date with him on

a day other than Saturday. Maybe I can work this

situation sorta out with Felix when I come near him.

In the meantime, Im gonna talk about this situation too

with my sisters who might be downstairs already. I dont

know but I have to go downstairs to find out and stop

    talking to myself.

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    21/36

And as I headed downstairs, I didnt smell anything. And

as I reached at the middle of the stairs, I also didnt hear

a thing at all. I continue to walk downstairs until I finally

came at the lower level. I looked around. Huh, I

wondered. Its8:00am. Joan and Cathy didnt get up like

the used to, Monday through Friday. They still sleeping.

    Maybe they overslept, I guess.

So I headed back upstairs to wake up my sisters. I went

    into Joans room first.

Hey, I shouted.Joans eyes suddenly pop up.

Time to wake up, I continued as I walked toward

her, whos in her bed sleeping.

Joan then yawned and get annoyed. It was obviously

to me that she didnt like to hear me shouting wake up. It

was obviously that she wants to be overslept on theweekend, although it was much after, or because of, her

work in the same hospital that I also work. I dont know

about my other sister, Cathy, who I know believed that

she wants to be overslept too. Cathy wants to continue

sleeping through the morning. Im guessing that shell

wake up at 9:30am, but that really sucks because Im up

and I want my sisters to get up and I know that my

brother Mac always up in the early, though unlike myself,

he doesnt want to wake his girlfriend Jenny unless he

    needs to.

Cmon Joan wake up, I continued shouting at her,

    whos still sleeping.

She turn her head away from me.

Cmon, I keep shouted. Wake up its eight

    oclock.

She suddenly moans as she put her pillow on her

    head.

Cmon, I keep shouted as bent over and touching

her to get her butt out of her bed.

But she didnt move. All she did so far was movingback and forth again. Her head was now away from me

    again.

    Cmon, I said.

Then she put her pillow on top of her head.

I stretched myself back. I sighed and flapped my

hands. I put my hands on my hips looking away from mysister, wondering myself whats up with her. She was up

in the morning, but early morning when she cooked

breakfast for the week, which is something I think it was

unusual. I looked back at her again. But before I started

to wake her up again, Joan finally woke up, but in a not-

a-very-happy-mode. She slowly turn her face at me,

knowing that I should not disturb her sleeping.

Why are you shouting? she asked me.

    Because its eight oclock,I said.

She then looked at the clock.

Its now eight o five, I continued.

She looked back at me again. Yes I know, she said.

Can we get some, I was going to say breakfast

    but she interrupted me.

Listen, she take her feet off of her sheet and

turned around to face me. You have a date. She has a

serious look on her face. Right?

Yeah but I was trying to explain what was going

on but then she interrupting me again.

I know my sisters dont wanna hang out with mebecause of a date with my new boyfriend Felix (oh my

god, I say his name, like a thousand times now). Although

they loved me having a new boyfriend, they just unhappy

about that fact that me and him schedule on that day my

and my sisters hang out. I tried to tell them the situation,

but they completely ignored the fact that Felix had onlySaturdays available.

So go with your new boyfriend, Joan interrupt me.

You know your boyfriend is waiting for you.

Look its, I looked at my watch before I even

looked back at her. Its twelve oclock me and Felix hang

    out together.

She continued to have a glaze stare at me.

We only have three hours to hangout together, I

    continued.

    Like what, she said.

Like we can go around the mallshopping.

She continues to stare at me, indicating that she doesnt

wanna go with me in just under three house. She, as well

as Cathy and Mac, wants to hang out the whole day with

me as usuall. They dont want to hangout with me in just

so little time. They just obviously (except for Mac) want

toI dont knowkick me out, since I have a date?

Then even before I had enough time to wake my other

sister, Cathy was areadly awake as she walked into Joans

    room.Um, she said.

    We looked at her.

    Whats going on?

Cathy, I walked toward as I beigin talking. Can we

    have a talk?

Then Joan got off up her bed and walked toward us.Cathy, she began to talk.

I turn around and tried to calm Joan down. But like

Joan, Cathy was feeling the same way. She folded her

    arms and looked at me.

It seems like Isabella wanna grab our butts to

hangout when she has a date on that day, Joan said to

    Cathy.

    Cathy nodded.

    I sighed again.

    25/36

Sorry Isabella, Cathy said to me. You have a date,

she walked past me and stand beside Joan. So hangout

with your newest boyfriend, she continued as she

    folded her arms again.

We would love to meet him, Joan added. But

because its on the same day that we going to a movie,

    we would like to say

Good luck, Cathy finish her sentence.

Thank you Cathy, she looked at her.

Youre welcome.I sighed one more time. Fine, I said with a

disappointing look on my face. You guys go ahead

without me. Then I looked at them. Can you guys still

    make breakfast?

No, Joan said as she shake her head. You are.

I got a suprising look when she said that.Okay, Joan said it like shes serious.

I sighedagain. Alright Ill look some breakfast, I

    said.

Well I tried. It seems that my sisters dont wanna let me

talk, but I guess Ill talk to my brother Mac, whos in his

house, later after I finish eating breakfast.

Less than an hour later, I walked out and got into my

fancy red car. Sure I already had a van, but that was for

my sister Joan, who ride with me for most of the week

when we go to work. Cathy have also had a car. The color

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

    26/36

of it was blue. We usually hang out on that one on

Saturdays. But not today, sort of. I then booted my red

car up and unpark from our house. Im driving to Macs

house. Im not sure if he and his girlfriend left their

house. I dont know, he havent called me since less than

a week ago. Probably Wednesday, since we last ate at a

fast food restaurant. Hes busy at the Washington Post

for the last two days, so I hangout with Joan at the

    hospital at lunch.

Here I am, at Macs house. Mac and Jenny still hadtheircars out, indicating that the couple is still here. I parked

on the right side of the road beside the yard. I got off my

car and walked into the grass as Im reaching towards the

door. When I reached, I rang the doorbell. Then, my

brother Mac, whosinside the house, comes in and

opens the door. He wears his regular casual clothering ofa green t-shirt and short jeans with his brown sneakers

    on.

    Well hello sis, Mac said.

Hey Mac, I said as I entered his house. He let me

    in.

After that we talk as we walk slowly.

Is there something you would like to talk about?

he asked. I mean you would like to talk about the dating

issue, he stopped and looked at me.

I took a deep breath. I know that my brother was a

calm man. A calm sibling than Joan and Cathy. Hes the

man who takes these situations to heart. Before I could

say anything, he told me something that I wasnt aware

    of.

I talk to Felix, he said, to my surpise.

About what? I asked with a shock.

About the situation that youre in.

    What does he say?

Mac took a deep breath. Well Felix had alreadyknow that you usually go out on Saturday with us, which

    is today, he explain.

    Yeah, I said.

    And he understands that.

    Right.

So he could make another plan to date with you sothat you can hangout with your sisters, unless you dont

    want to.

    I slowly nodded.

He roll his head from the ground to me. Well, he

said. Sure you dont want to be spoiled? I mean theres

a Wikipedia article on that movie.

I shook my head. No thanks, I said. I would rather

it on my spare time. Maybe Friday.

He nodded his head after I said that.

    Im sorry about this.

No thats okay, he patted me on the back. It

happens, he shrug his sholders and hands, indicating

that Im not the only one. Its not just you. I hangout

with my girlfriend a lot. In fact we actually lived here.

I nodded again. Yeah I know that.

I mean, Mac trying to explain. You could talk to

    your boyfriend.

    I know.

I already work out a plan with my girlfriend. I can

take my girlfriend and hangout with you guys.I had a thought for a moment. I could take my boyfriend

with me. But this is a romantic releationship for me and

Felix. I dont want Felix to feel bad. Sure Felix had friends,

but he would rather wanna hangout with me instead.

To be very honest, I said to Mac. Im not interest

    in taking my boyfriend out.

On a relationship day, I went into my boyfriend Felixs

apartment. His apartment looked like a maze. It is an

apartment complex with the apartment buildings in the

center and the large parking lot around it. Sure there

could be another building around here somewhere, but

Im too busy paying attention to my GPS system, which

  • 8/13/2019 Isabella Meganheimer (UNFINISHED)

was installed into my car. The GPS system was installed

in behind the car air AC. I looked at the traffic and the

GPS system back and forth carefully when it comes to an

incoming different direction. When I found Felixs

apartment number, which was on the other side of the

center, the parking lot was almost full. The only parking

space available was all the back, beside the exit. So drive

all the way to the only space available and parked there. I

got off my car and then cross the road and into the grass

and into the sidewalk. As I reached into Felixsapartment, which is the first one at the far left of the

other side, I pull out my cell phone and started calling

him to find out where he is. Because he only give me his

apartment address, I dont know his apartment number. I

stopped in front of the building, waiting for a call.

Hello, Felix answered the phone.Yeah hi, I said.

    Who is this?

    Isabella Meganheimer. Remember? From the

    restaurant?

He then remembered. Oh yes, he said with a

chuckle. I do. Then he suddenly fell to a shock look.

Wait youre here? he asked me.

Yes. Do you remember? Twevelve Oclock.

What? Is Felix kidding me? Wait he doesnt remember

me coming into his apartment? Does he remember the

online conversation that we agreed on. So now all of a

sudden, he doesnt remember that we have a date right

now? Is he on something that is so busy that he had lost

his memory over this? Anyway, I dont want to push

myself into this. I dont want to turn this into a

nightmare. All I want is to have a good relationship with

Felix. If Felix is acting stupidormaybe hesnever

    mind.

Oh yeah twelve oclock, Felix said.

Right, I said with a nod. Im standing in front ofthe building because you only gave me an apartment

    address.

Oh yeah right, he said with an embarrassment.

Do you know what apartment number?

Its, he lost it for a minute. Then, rather than tell

her his apartment room number, he decided to walk outof his living room. You know what let me come

through, he said as he exits his apartment.

I suddenly see him at the first level to the apartment

on the right, to my surprise. Wait, he didnt tell me his

apartment number? He just decided to walk straight to

me? And he didwith his cell phone on his ear. When he

reached, it no longer makes sense to have a cell phone

conversation when were actually can talk to each in

person. As a result, we just hang up the phones. I looked

at him, still in confusion. How cant he tell me his

number? I guess he would rather take me into his

    apartment, which is nice.

I smiled. Well hello Felix, I said.

    Hello there Isabella, he said.

Glad that you didnt tell me your apartment

    number. I still smiled.

He took a deep breath on himself. He then looked

back at me. Im, he said as he slowly shake his head.

I struggled. I remembered the date, I just didnt realize

that it is today. You didnt even realized that?

my boyfriend Felix shows me a diamond. I looked at him

    in surprise.

Will you marry me? he asked.I looked at the diamond again. Its so sparkly. I

looked at him once again. His face was so kinda. And I

have a baby in a few weeks. So to us, it was definitely the

    right time.

    Yes, I said.

I grab the diamond and put down on the table and

    hug him gently.

But before we even celebrate or even talk about the

wedding, I start to feel something that burst out of my

    water coming down the floor.

He looked at my stomach, he suddenly discover

whats going on with me. Oh my god, he said in horror.I looked at him. What, she said, also in horror.

Your water broke, he rush to grab his cell phone

out of his pants pocket. We gotta call 911 right now, he

    shouted. And he did.

Everybody else in the restaurant turn around and

watch the situation unfolding. Some the waiters almostcarried their food until they got interrupted by this. Most

of the people grasp and looked at each other.

Felix already call 911 on his cell phone. Uh..hello,

he said, still in horror. Yes, theres a woman whose

water got broke. He answered what the emgerency

caller asked. In the restaurant. Right now. Okay.Hehang up and looked at me again. Dont worry, he said.

    Everythings going to be okay.

Then I saw two waiters rushed in for help.

Is everything okay, one waiter asked.

Yeah, Felix said, looking at him.

Is she having a baby, the waiter asked, referring to

    me.

Yeah she is, Felix said as he looked at him.

The other waiter call 911 on his cell phone, looking

away. Uh hello, he said. Yes theres someone whos

Felix looked at my stomach again and then me.

Trust me, he said. Everythings going to be fine the

ambulance will come in a few seconds, he said without

    a pause.

I looked at him, nodding my head, before I looked at

    my stomach again.

More than a minute later, the amblence have arrived. As

the doctors grab my whole body, I talked to my siblingson the phone, especially my 24-year-old brother Mac.

    Hey Mac, I said.

Yeah Isbella whats up, he said.

Tell everyone, I sruggled to finish my sentence.

Mac, whos at the house, raise his eyebrows as he

knew somethings up. Your water broke, he shocklyguessed.

I nodded my head without a word said on the phone.

Just tell meyour water broke, my brother keep

    saying.

Yes, I said to him. Just tell everyone.

He suddenly hang up and starting rushing upstairs.

Hey, he shouted. He then ran into the sisters

bedroom. He peeked his head in the room. Isbellas

    water has been broke.

Cathy and Joan looked at each other, in horror.

Wait, Joan said. Do you know which hospital shes

Well lets call her, Joan picked her cell phone out

    of her pants pocket.

We cant, Mac shouted as he stop her from calling

    out. Shes in the ambulance.

We gotta call her boyfriend, Cathy nodded.Mac started picked up his cell phone again. You

know what, he said as he pushing the buttons. I call

him, he looked at them as he put his phone on his right

    ear.

At the driveway, my boyfriend Felix was sitting on a

bench on the ambulance, supporting me and myupcoming baby, especially after he gives me a proposal.

He looked at the ambulance taker, whos doing

everything she can to help me and my baby.

Dont worry, she said. We get you to the hospital

    Okay, I said.

Finally, we arrived at the hospital in a quick fast drive.
