WHAT ARE SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS

They are the phisical differences between men and women

PRIMARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS

They are the reproductive organs.

SECONDARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS

They don´t necessary relate to reproduction.

THE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

It´s formed by various organs called genital organs

THE OVARIES They produce sexual hormons and female sex cells

called ovules.

FALOPIAN TUBES They connect the ovaries to the uterus.

UTERUS It `s on elastic hollow organ. During pregnancy the

baby grows here.

THE VAGINA It`s the canal that connect the uterus to the outside of

the body

THE VULVA It`s external part. It`s formed by two folds of skin

called lips

THE MALE REPRODUCTIVE

SYSTEM THE TESTICLES:

They produce thesexual hormons and male sex cellscalled spermatozoa.

THE VAS DEFERENS

They carry the sperm to the urethra.

THE URETHRA

It expells sperm outside.

THE PROSTATE GLAND AND SEMINAL VESICLES

They produce a liquid that feeds and transports the sperm.

THE SCROTUM:

It´s the tissue sac the protects the testicles.

THE PENIS

It´s the last part of the process.
