the fact they can be reached

at any time.

Employees are staying “TURNED ON” past office hours making themselves available all the time.

“There is an expectation being set, that we are ALWAYS AVAILABLE, even on

vacation or after hours.”

“Many more people [are] TAKING WORK HOME and not properly ‘switching off’ (literally

and metaphorically).”

Smartphone users work 71 minutes longer/day on average.
