United Methodists from all over the state will convene for our official welcome and installation of Bishop Nunn as the spiritual leader for the United Methodist Church in Oklahoma.

Following the retirement of Bishop Robert Hayes, the Rev. Jimmy Nunn was elected and consecrated as our new Bishop for the Oklahoma Area of United Methodists this summer during the Jurisdictional Conference at Wichita, Kansas.

Pastor Tom Harrison served as a delegate representative for all Oklahoma United Methodists and helped lead in the election of Bishop Nunn. As the head of the United Methodist Church in Oklahoma, Bishop Nunn helps to lead and direct nearly 600 churches across the Oklahoma Annual Conference, as well as 81 churches of the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference.

Bishop Nunn and his wife, Mary, come to us from the Northwest Texas Conference. He is a

graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary. Please join us as we host the entire Oklahoma Annual Conference in welcoming our new bishop.
