Professor H. M. SrivaAtava well associated with Jnanabha family :·" an Editor since 1972, born on July 5, 1940 in Ballia District of Uttar Pradesh in India. He received his bw-1ic education nt Government Higher Secondary School at Ballia, and his university education at the University of Allahabad. After a throughout high first class and meritoriou0 academic record (from High School in 1953 to M.Sc. in 1959), he taught nt D.M. Govornment College in lmphal (Now Manipur University) and the lJnivorsity of Hoorkce, and at Jodhpur University where he earned his Ph.D. degroo in 1965 whHe he was a full-time member of the faculty.

A Senior Professor in the Department of, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Victoria, having joined the faculty there in 1969, Professor Srivastava has held several visiting positions including (for example) those at West Virginia University, Universite Leval, the University of Glasgow, the Indian Institute , ,.
