P.E.Play Outside Do as many pushups as
you can.Take two laps around a pretend court and one
giant star jump!
Read a book while doing a wall sit.
Take a walk.
MusicPick a simple song like Mary Had a Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc. and practice singing it.
Make up new words to the song. Have
someone in your house help you write them
down, so you will remember them. (Keep
it simple. Example: Instead of “Mary Had a Little Lamb,” “Sophia had a big, big dog.”
Practice singing your song. Decide if you
want to add an instrument. (Don’t
have an instrument, make one! Keep it
simple. Pencils can be drum sticks, rice or
beans in a bottle can be maracas, etc.
Add all the finishing touches to your song
and practice it. Decide if you want to add any movement or dancing.
Big performance! Perform your new song for someone in your house!
(Set up a pretend stage and audience with toys and stuffed
animals if desired. Want to share with Ms. Higgins? Ask a grownup to
help you send a video to [email protected])
