WELCOME NOTE

Irish Association ofCorporate Treasurers

CONTACTwww.treasurers.ie

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 2016 annual conference of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers. Education and professional development remain fundamental to our mission. As our marque business event, the annual conference remains a focal point of the annual calendar for the IACT. While corporate treasury departments are small in terms of staff numbers, their remit and responsibilities spans entire organisations. Now more than ever, it is important for treasurers to have an active network of peers.

Today’s conference agenda which includes ample time for networking, continues the success of previous years in promising an exciting mix of speakers with deep knowledge and topical insights.

The treasury sector is no stranger to change and this past year has been no different. You might well be forgiven for thinking that the pace of change is relentless, with little opportunity to sit back and reflect. In designing today’s agenda, we hope to provide you with a chance to explore many of these developments in greater depth. So please do enjoy networking with your treasury peers, and learning from our extensive panel of expert speakers throughout the day.
