IriSecureIDsystem consists of the IriSecureIDService deployed in thecloud server, a software component called IriSecureIDAdapter on aclient side, and a client application which is implemented as a richgraphic user interface application or enterprise service.

IriSecureIDService contains a Load Balancer that receives requestsfrom client applications and distribute to different redundant

processing nodes in the cloud server. The client applicationconnects with IriShield camera to capture iris images and utilizesIriSecureIDAdapter to send enrollment or matching requests toIriSecureIDService through secure communication channel SSL.

Verification (1:1 matching): allows users to submit an iris image or

template captured by an IriTechs iris camera to match against anenrolled iris template.

Identification (1:N matching): allows users to submit an iris imageor template captured by an IriTechs iris camera to match againstthe enrollment database.

Enrollment: allows users to submit demographic data and irisimages or templates captured by an IriTechs iris camera forenrollment.

De-duplication: allows users to submit an iris image or templatecaptured by an IriTechs iris camera to check whether the

image/template belongs to an enrollee in the database.

Healthcare: Using iris recognition functions on cloud will improvethe security of healthcare services. The access of medical record

and patient information will only be granted with a matched irisimage.

Finance and Banking:Easily scaling up operations without incurringadditional costs normally associated with increase of manpower oradditional hardware and software. A bank can economicallyintegrate certain functions such as client registration and bankingtransaction that require a matched iris to process.

Other Security Applications: The IT industry always encountershackers and other cyber-attacks. Iris authentication can help tosignificantly increase the level of security of the system.
