This project represents a relatively new concept to be used mainly in primaryeducation to improve the overall quality of education: a learning cube, tangible,

interactive and playing platform for children.

Our cube is very different from other educational cubes because it has a colored

display on each of its sides, making it customizable.

Also, a cube is not to be used as a standalone learning tool. It is to be associated

with other cubes in games like word matching, picture association or any other

games that require multiple matching.

Another aspect that makes the cubes attractive is the fact that they have

accelerometer sensors creating new possibilities for user interaction, very

attractive, especially to children.

This project was carried out in a very abnormal way, we sometimes

worked for 2 days consecutively without sleep and sometimes just a

few hours/day.

As with many innovational projects unforeseen difficulties appeared

and these situations made us fall behind schedule.

Microsoft Project 2010 is an easy to use project management software.

This tools allows you to rapidly define tasks, task flow, allocate resources and estimate

completion time and costs.

Project planning was useful for having an overview of the project’s state  

Planning has to be made with extreme care in order to be effective and to serve its

purposes.
