What is new about it?The IPhone 5 is lighter and faster than any of the other IPhone's, despite having a bigger design of a 4inch display. It has also been made 18% slimmer than the IPhone 4s, at only 7.6 millimetres thin.

The IPhone 5 isn't only physically different to the previous IPhones. One difference is the larger retina display, meaning the pixels that determine the quality. With 326 pixels per inch, your eyes are not able to distinguish the individual pixels and this therefore results in a stunning high resolution and also better colours. The IPhone 5 is also faster because of it’s new A6 chip, which also means a longer battery life. The Wi-Fi is also ultra fast.

This phone has a new and improved camera as well that offers HD Video Recording, Panorama, Face Time HD Camera and many others amazing features that include 40% faster photo capture, better low light performance and improved noise reduction.

Siri:Although Siri was a feature of the IPhone 4 also, Siri has been improved for the IPhone 5. Siri now understands more questions, knows more answers, and gives you a lot more to talk about. Ask Siri about sports scores and stats, where to eat, what movies to see — even ask Siri to make Facebook posts or tweet for you. And Siri is fluent in more languages, so it does more things in more countries.

Who is it aimed at?I don’t think the IPhone 5 is aimed at anyone in particular as it has something for everyone and is extremely easy to use, so aiming it at a particular audience would lose sales. However if I had to link this phone to a certain group, I would say people who want to be able to use one thing for everything and not have to have individual things like cameras as well as a phone, but instead be able to use one thing for every function.

A new shatterproof, drop-resistant screen is a pretty simple thing, but invaluable, especially after shelling out several hundred pounds for your new phone. The breakable screen has always been the Achilles heel of the iPhone line, so it is nice to see that Apple is addressing the issue. The over all profile of the new phone is slimmer and a bit lighter as well.Other practical new features include better sound quality from the built- in speakers and longer battery life. The new iPhone 5 comes with built in GPS so there is no need to install a separate app. Finally yet importantly, for those of you who wanted even more sci-fi effects, this phone comes with anti-tampering face recognition technology.

I clicked 'perfect' for all three: features, design and usability.This is the perfect upgrade to my iPhone 4, the iPhone 5 still fits really well in the hand, is so much faster, the camera is VERY impressive (loving the new panoramic shot), the new iOS6 software is very easy to use if you are already an iPhone user and the new, larger screen makes for a great experience. The iPhone 5 is by far the best phone on the market and is now the thinnest as well. Well done Apple - I will stay a fan for a long time to come.
