• IPCorder is design for you to use 24 hours

• IPCorder is for you to record IP camera stream. There’s no NAS function

• IPCorder is suggest to use @ online environment

Have to Know

First install IPCorder

Installation mode is step 0


Installation mode – Format HDD, All low level info

Format HDD and build up RAID if necessary1

Go to Main menu to set the networkOr restart to the normal mode (UI)

Restart into Normal Mode


Set time zone and NTP if IPCorder online

Must correct!!

Get

1. Daily Health check (system log)

2. Inform when installation mode

• All the IP Camera has 2+ streaming

- 1st stream: Max Resolution @ 1.5M bps constant bit rate

- 2nd stream: VGA/ D1 @ 768K bps bit rate

- 3rd stream: CIF @128K bps (optional)

- 4th stream: Max Resolution @1.5Mpbs (optional)

Camera setting – Fix bit rate


1. For HDD working life

HDD in IPCorder is 24 hours write in new data, erase old data, so, fix bit rate could be sure the HDD has stable input and record sufficient time, and last its working life.

2. For IPCorder performance

Each IPCorder port is 4Mpbs. For view & record, it would be better to set 1.5M-2bps/ channel in recording.

Set Motion in each camera


• IPCorder is the receiver from cameras

• If Motion Detection is request. Set in camera.

• IPCorder will record only MD triggered in camera.

• IPCorder will indicate the MD frequency. (yellow)

• Please buy a Mikrotik router

• Please register a DDNS name in no-ip.
