QR Codes

Page 34: IPads and Writing Integrating iPads with Writing in the Classroom.

What is a QR Code?

QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional barcode) first designed for the automotive industry in Japan. Now you will see them everywhere from a McDonald’s Happy Meal to a box of nails.

The barcode is an optically machine-readable label that is attached to an item and it records information related to that item.
