Exercise 13/ 12 Employer: I’ve analysed your CV. However, I still have some concerns and thus I would like you to answer some qestions. Applicant: Of course. Employer: You have been working for a prestigious advertising company. Can you tell me why you have chosen our company? Applicant: As mentioned in my CV, I have gone through the phases of an employee working in a team. I have come up with some ideas which solved the problem of an advertising campaign, but my ex principal gave credit to all the team, not only to me for doing it. Employer: I understand. So why are you particulary interested in our company? Applicant: Firstly, the possibility to have subordinates to lead, the fact that you manage advertising campaigns wich require ingeniousness, thing that is very challenging for me. Employer: What would you like to be doing five years from now? Applicant: I see myself still working in your company, as a department manager for the Media planner department. Employer: How much money do you expect? Applicant: I am waiting for your proposition in this respect. Employer: Do you have any questions to ask? Applicant: I would like yo know whether travelling is required for this position. Employer: No, in the beginning.
