Backbone Configuration with optical directional coupler
Up to four remote units can be connected to the master unit via only one fibre in a backbone („cascaded“) structure. The
coupling values for the optical couplers may be selected in the following way p.e.:Remote Unit 1: 25%Remote Unit 2: 35%Remote Unit 3: 50%
The optical wavelength in the Remote Units have to be selected to make shure the UL-lasers vary min. 0.4 nm.Therefore 4 different Laser modules for Remote Units are available (160151 – 54)
