O' Allāh send Your blessings on

Muhammad and the family of

Muhammad.

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali

muhammadin

Invocation of Blessings upon Imam Hasan (A) and Husayn (A) )ع)صلوا على اإلمام الحسن و الحسين

ي ن بسم الل خم خم الر الر

In the Name of Allāh,

the All-merciful, the All-compassionate

bis-mil-lahir-rah-mnir-rahim


م صن الل دسن غل

ا لن دس

وا ل

O Allāh, (please) send blessings upon

al-Hasan and al-Husayn,

allahumma salli `ala alhasani walhusayni


ك ك وول غبد

Your two servants and friends,

`abdayka wa waliyyayka


وا بو خمة رسلك وسبط ا لر

the two sons of Your Messengers, the

two grandsons of Mercy,

wabnay rasulika wa sibtay alrrahmati


دي شباب ن وس ة ا جو ا ل

and the two chiefs of the youth of

Paradise,

wa sayyiday shababi ahli aljannati


ت افضن ما صل اخد من غلن اوالد ب

مرسلن ا لو وا ل

with the most excellent blessings that

You have ever sent upon any of the

sons of the Prophets and the

Messengers. afdala ma sallayta `ala ahadin min awladi

alnnabiyyina walmursalina

د ا بن ا ل س

ن ب ا لو


al-Hasan the son of the chief of the

Prophets

allahumma salli `ala alhasani ibni sayyidi

alnnabiyyina


امر مؤمون ووص ا ل

and the successor of the Commander

of the Faithful.

wa wasiyyi amiri almu'minina


ا بن رسل ك الم غل ي الس ا لل

Peace be upon you, O son of Allāh's

Messenger.

alssalamu `alayka yabna rasuli allahi


د ا بن س ك الم غل الس

ن ص ا ل

Peace be upon you, O son of the chief

of the Prophets’ successors.

alssalamu `alayka yabna sayyidi

alwasiyyina


ا بن امر ك د اه مؤمون اش ا ل

I bear witness that you are verily the

son of the Commander of the

Faithful,

ashhadu annaka yabna amiri almu'minina


ي امن اموي وا بن ا لل

the trustee of Allāh, and the son of His

trustee.

aminu allahi wabnu aminihi


لما غشت رشدا مظ

You lived upright and persecuted

`ishta rashidan mazluman


دا ت ش ومض

and passed away as martyr.

wa madayta shahidan


ك د اه ا إلمام واش م ا لز

And I bear witness that you are verily

the pure,

wa ashhadu annaka al-imamu alzzakiyyu


ادي دي ا ل م

ا ل

guiding, and well-guided leader.

alhadi almahdiyyu


ي م صن غل الل


him

allahumma salli `alayhi


ؼ روخي وجسدى غو وبل

and convey to his soul and body

wa balligh ruhahu wa jasadahu `anni


ذى ف اغة ة افضن ا لس د ا لجالم وا لس

at this hour the best greeting and

salutation from me.

fi hadhihi alssa`ati afdala alttahiyyati

walssalami

al-Husayn the son of Àli,

allahumma salli àla alhusayni ibni àliyyin


لم مظ

د ا ل

ا لش

the oppressed, the martyr,

almazlumi alshshahidi


فرة قجن ل فجرة وطرح ا ل

ا ل

the slain by the unbelievers, and the

thrown down by the sinful people.

qatili alkafarati wa tarihi alfajarati


ا ابا غبد ك الم غل ي الس ا لل

Peace be upon you, O Abu-Àbdullah.

alssalamu àlayka ya aba àbdi allahi


ا بن رسل ك الم غل ي الس ا لل

Peace be upon you, O son of Allāh's

Messenger.

alssalamu `alayka yabna rasuli allahi


ا بن امر ك الم غل السمؤمون

ا ل

Peace be upon you, O son of the

Commander of the Faithful.

alssalamu `alayka yabna amiri almu'minina


ك امن د مقوا اه ي اش وا بن ا لل اموي

I bear witness with full conviction that

you are verily the trustee of Allāh

and the son of His trustee.

ashhadu muqinan annaka aminu allahi

wabnu aminihi


دا ت ش لما ومض

ت مظ

قجل

You were killed wrongly and you

passed away as martyr.

qutilta mazluman wa madayta shahidan


د ان ي واش ا للالب ثػال ا لط بثارك

I also bear witness that Allāh the All-

exalted is the One Who shall avenge

You

wa ashhadu anna allaha ta`ala alttalibu

bitha'rika


صر وموجز ما وغدك من ا لود ا

وا لجand shall fulfill His promise to You of

support and victory

wa munjizun ma wa`adaka min alnnasri

waltta'yidi


ثك ار دغ ك وإظ الك غدو ف

through exterminating your enemies

and demonstrating your call (to the

true guidance).

fi halaki `aduwwika wa izhari da`watika


د ت بػ ك وف د اه ي واش ا لل

I also bear witness that you fulfilled

your covenant with Allāh,

wa ashhadu annaka wafayta bi`ahdi allahi


دت ف سبن ي وجا ا لل

strove hard for His sake,

wa jahadta fi sabili allahi


ي وغبدت مخلصا ا لل اثاك خجقن

ا ل

and served Allāh sincerely until death

came upon you.

wa `abadta allaha mukhlisan hatta ataka

alyaqinu


ػن ي ل ة ا لل قجلجك ام

May Allāh remove blessings from the

people who killed you.

la`ana allahu ummatan qatalatka


ػن ي ول جك ا لل

ة خذل ام


people who disappointed you.

wa la`ana allahu ummatan khadhalatka


ػن ي ول ك ا لل بت غل

ة ال ام


people who incited people against

you.

wa la`ana allahu ummatan allabat `alayka


وابرا ي إل ا لل

بك ثػال ن مذ مم

I release myself before Allāh the All-

exalted from those who belied you,

wa abra'u ila allahi ta`ala mamman

kadhdhabaka


ك وا سجخف دمك وا سجدن بدق

belittled your right, and allowed

themselves to shed your blood.

wa istakhaffa bihaqqika wa istahalla

damaka


ا ابا غبد ي باب اهت وام ا لل

May my father and mother be

ransoms for you.

bi'abi anta wa ummi ya aba `abdi allahi


ػن ي ل قاثلك ا لل

May Allāh remove blessing from those

who killed you.

la`ana allahu qatilaka


ػن ي ول ك ا لل

خاذل


who let you down.

wa la`ana allahu khadhilaka


ػن ي ول جك فلم ا لل من سمع واغ

وصرك م جبك ول

May Allāh remove blessings from

those who heard your call (for help),

but they refrained from responding

to you or supporting you. wa laàna allahu man samià waìyataka

falam yujibka wa lam yansurka


ػن ي ول من ا لل هساءك سب


who captured your women.

wa la`ana allahu man saba nisa'aka


اها ي إل ن ا لل م بريء ومم مو

م واالI disavow them all before Allāh and

disavow those who adhered to them,

ana ila allahi minhum bari'un wa mimman

walahum


ي م غل م واغاه وماال

those who kept up with them, and

those who helped them against you.

wa mala'ahum wa a`anahum `alayhi


ك د اه ة واش دك وا الئممن ول

ى ملمة ق ا لجI also bear witness that you and the

Imams from your descendants are

the word of piety,

wa ashhadu annaka wal-a'immata min

wuldika kalimatu alttaqwai


دى وباب ػروة ا ل

وا ل ق

ث ا ل

the door to true guidance, the firmest

handle,

wa babu alhuda wal`urwatu alwuthqai


ة دج وا ل ن غل اا ه ا لد

and the argument against the

inhabitants of this world.

walhujjatu `ala ahli alddunya


بلم مؤمن د اه واش

I also bear witness that I have full

faith in you,

wa ashhadu anni bikum mu'minun


جلم مقن وبموزل

I have conviction in your standing,

wa bimanzilatikum muqinun


لم ثابع بذات هفس ول

and I always follow you in myself,

wa lakum tabi`un bidhati nafsi


اثم غمل وشرائع دو وخ

in the laws of my religion, in my

sealing deeds,

wa shara'i`i dini wa khawatimi `amali


اي اي ف ده وموقلب ومثخرث

وا

in my tour, and in my settlement in

this worldly life and the Hereafter.

wa munqalabi wa mathwaya fi dunyaya wa

akhirati
