How to Make an Invitation

Cutting the invitations to size

Cut backing cardboard and front board to size with a paper trimmer

Make front board approximately 1centimetre smaller in width and length so as to show a border around the edge of the invitation

Cut contrasting paper to size

Contrast Paper

Add contrast paper to design paper with double sided tape

Stick to design paper

Ready for Ribbon

Wrap double sided tape over top of joining contrast and design paper and finish at backof invitation

Apply Ribbon

Undo double sided tape and wrap ribbon around invitation, finish off at back

Backing

Apply double sided tape to edges of back side of invitation

Remove tape backing

Backing Board

Stick design paper invitation to backing sheet

Make sure border is even all the way around

Embelishments

Finish invitation off with embelishment to suit desing of invitation

Send invitation off with plenty of time for the RSVP
