OverviewThis division, a downstream assetdevelopment organisation, combinescommercial, technical and socio-political understanding to excel in thisspace. OTL is set to complete its firstmajor investment as Oando leads theway in significantly reducing the cost ofimporting products into the country.

The organisation has completedfinancing and commencedconstruction of the pioneering ApapaSubmarine Pipeline (ASP) project: A jetty in Lagos harbour that connectsto the Major Marketers’ storage by ahalf kilometre subsea pipeline, and anew 3km onshore line delivering almost3 million tonnes a year.

OTL will maintain an interest inadvantaged downstream assetdevelopment projects such asLiquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storageand world scale white fuels terminallingin the south-west that will receiveproducts destined for inland delivery.As before, these projects will seek to

further enhance the sector leadershipof other Group downstream entities.

In summary, the division is on the vergeof yielding the first fruits, whilst thecompany remains poised to secureadditional opportunities as they ariseout of new insight and newpartnerships.
