Invention Work 

Freewrite

My brother taught me how to ride a longboard over the summer and it was quite the

 journey. Talk about having scraped knees and elbows all the time, yeah I know, I should have

worn knee pads and elbow pads but I didn’t. I did however wear a helmet though. My brother,

 Nathan taught me how to eventually go down our house’s driveway. It wasn’t the most graceful

thing every but I did finally accomplish it. It was actually quite dangerous because while I was

on the board, it started wiggling really fast below my feet. My brother was honestly scared for

me but I pulled it off, so that’s all that matters, right?

Looping

It wasn’t the most graceful thing every but I did finally accomplish being able to stand

and balance on the longboard. I looked like a fool because my knees weren't ben at all and I

looked very stiff. My heart would just pump out of my chest because in my mind I thought I’d

 just fall right on my face. I really didn’t want to ruin my master piece either. I ‘m just joking with

you but on a serious note long boarding is not for everyone. I would consider myself a long

 boarder because my sweet brother took his time to teach me his long boarding ways. I’m not as

literate as him but I strive to be.
