As a learning and development professional, Janne had noticed that the world was getting too complex for rigid

processes and hierarchies.

Our journey began on this tiny kitchen table by doing a business plan and market research.

We received a start-up grant from ELY-centre and a preparation grant from TEKES. Some revenue was made

through consulting and training services.

In 2009 Intunex was accepted to the new Aalto Start-Up Center.

The incubator offered a space to meet other entrepreneurs and arrange events to potential customers and experts on

the field.

First mockups and a demo-version of “xTune”-service were designed and developed.

While the global financial crisis hit the world, Intunex received recognition for the efforts to overcome the

recession.

In 2009 some revenue was made through consulting and training services. All money was spent on product

development.

In the beginning of 2010 Head of Development Jaakko joined the hive.

Intunex received a lot of help and advice from it’s friends, fans and followers.

In 2011 Intunex flew away from the incubator to it’s first own office in Ullanlinna.

A new version of “xTune” was launched and the focus of the service started to crystallize.

Intunex won the most prestigious award for interactive learning in Finland - eEemeli 2012.

The prize money was spent to develop a new UI and the mobile (responsive) version of “xTune”.

around the world.

In 2012 Intunex hired Jere as a First Impression Manager to help in sales and marketing.

In 2013 sales increased again and we got many new customer, some of them operating globally.
