The history of monster trucks began in the 1970s with the Bigfoot. Bob and Marilyn Chandler from St. Louis, Missouri, owned a 4x4 pick up truck. They kept trying new parts on it to make it bigger and better. It started with exhibitions and progressed to truck pulls and smashing junk cars. _______.
