Summer: AP training for all new AP courses and teachers
This year: Using Assessment to Drive Instruction - Implementation of last year’s curricular work (teaching essential standards to at least 80% mastery), using frequent, formative assessments to gauge student learning, adjusting instruction in direct response to student learning

1. Apply online at www.sierracollege.edu by January 1
2. Complete Academic Enrichment Form (signatures from Parent/Guardian, Counselor, Principal)
3. Take an Assessment Test for any ENGLISH or MATH class
4. Complete online orientation
5. Enroll in classes using “My Sierra”
Registration for academic enrichment students begins
November 29 for spring 2012.
