Stan Carroll Library strives to provide high quality library and information services in the field of health sciences to the South West Healthcare network

• VisionWorking within the framework of South West Healthcare’s vision, the library is committed to

– Providing staff, affiliated organisations, health science students and members of the public with appropriate information to support patient care, education and research in the most cost efficient and effective way

– Aiming to provide a setting conducive to independent learning and research and expertise in educating users in accessing and using the resources.

– Forging effective partnerships with other health science and tertiary institutions for the benefit of library users.

• Electronic ResourceClinicians Health Channel – Free clinical information portal for all Victorian public health workers– Includes journals, databases and point of care resources cover the full spectrum

information needs for different health professionals– Provides Evidence-based resources which give clinicians a solid scientific grounding for

decision making, assessing and diagnosis.

connect to the printer– 8 computers are for the public. These computers

connect to the printer– All computers have installed Microsoft Office
