Drawing upon the Department for Education’s Guide to Estate Management, this first session will outline the importance of taking a strategic approach to the management of your school buildings. We will look at the key elements of what you need to consider when managing school buildings, the respective roles of people within your organisation, and how these might differ depending upon whether you are a local authority maintained school, a stand-alone Academy/Free School or a Multi Academy Trust.
